Core Muscles are one of the most active and important muscle groups in our body. These muscles are attached to either the spine or to the pelvic region. We need core muscles for almost all of our activities – walking, sitting, getting up from bed, playing, etc. A strong core muscle is very important, to alleviate pain – especially for the back and spine
Many people equate core muscles to the abs (re**us abdominis), but the core muscles are much much more than that. The core muscles can be broadly classified as those situated at the anterior side (around the abdomen) and the posterior side ( back and around the buttocks /hips). All these muscles together help in bending, twisting, turning, and supporting the spine and pelvic region.

Piriformis syndrome is a condition in which a tight piriformis muscle compresses against the sciatic nerve, causing symptoms of sciatica into the lower extremity. The sciatic nerve usually exits from the internal pelvic cavity into the buttock/gluteal region between the piriformis and the superior gemellus muscles.

👉 The sciatic nerve passes through the piriformis muscle or above it (between the piriformis and gluteus medius).

💠 Anatomy:-

In anatomic position, the piriformis is a lateral (external) rotator of the thigh at the hip joint, as well as a contralateral rotator of the pelvis at the hip joint. If the thigh is flexed to approximately 60 degrees or more, the piriformis switches from being a lateral rotator to being a medial (an internal) rotator of the thigh, and also becomes a horizontal abductor of the thigh at the hip joint.

🔹Muscle overuse due to excessive workouts

🔹Repetitive activities which involve the leg muscles
🔸Sitting for long periods of time without taking any break for stretches or walks
🔹Repeatedly lifting heavy weights
🔸Injury may take place due to a bad fall, any hit to this region during sports, a penetrating wound that extends up to this muscle or a sudden twisting movement of the hip.

Common Exercises
Wrist Extension: One of the common range of motion exercises for tennis elbow is wrist extension. Begin with your elbow at a 90-degree angle, palm facing down, resting on a table’s surface. Gently extend your wrist to lift it off the table (this should not be painful). Repeat ten times. As you progress you can add weight, like holding a water bottle, to add resistance and incorporate strengthening into the exercise.

Wrist Flexion: This exercise is similar to the wrist exercise above, but the palm is in the other direction. For the wrist flexion exercise, begin with your elbow at a 90-degree angle, palm facing up, resting on a table’s surface. Gently extend your wrist to lift it off the table towards the ceiling (this should not be painful). Repeat ten times. You can also add weight resistance to add strength training to the exercise.

Grip Strengthening: For this exercise, all you need is a squishy ball or “stress ball.” Hold the ball in your hand and gently squeeze. Hold for five seconds, relax, and repeat ten times. This exercise is helpful for both tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow.

Strength Exercise: One of the common strengthening exercises you can do is informally called the “hammer exercise.” You will need a hammer as your weight resistance. Hold the handle of the hammer, and keep your elbow at 90 degrees, rested flat on a table’s surface. Slowly rotate the hammer towards the centre of your body, turning the direction of your palm downwards. Then slowly reverse the motion, rotating the hammer outwards—your palm begins facing up with the heavy side of the hammer pulling on your arm. Rest briefly. Repeat ten times

Women vs Men:
Societal pressure restraints women from living life the way they want. They’re deprived from accessing equality in its true essence.
Women are not allowed to be comfortable in their own skin. Removal of body hair is a necessity to prove one’s femininity.
Women shouldn’t go on trips and spend nights with guys even if they’re in a group because it’s futile for their chaste reputation.
Be prepared for ‘taanas’ or taunts if being a woman you don’t know how to cook because it is your duty to feed your family and not your spouse’s job to help you in the kitchen.
It’s frowned upon if a widow or divorcee thinks of wedding bells because she’s supposed to have just one soul mate, one sexual partner for the entirety of her life.
Why do women have to stay caged in societal boundaries to maintain a reputation, to maintain their sanity? Think about it and watch out for tomorrow’s post because not only women but men also are victims of certain stigmas.

Men vs Women:
Men are victims of gender stereotyping too! Unrealistic expectations and pressure to conform to gender norms deprives them from equality as well.

If they do listen to their wife or take a stand for her then they’re considered to be ‘Joru ka Gulam’ or wife’s servant because he is supposed to dictate the life of his wife and not act according to her wish.

Men hardly receive paternity leave because they do not need to spend time with their infant or take care of them. What’s the need right?

They can’t express themselves in front of others. Can lend a shoulder to cry on but not have a shoulder to cry on as it’ll make them look weak.

And money matters obviously are meant to be taken care of by the man. So be it his household or a fancy date, he’s expected to pay and not let the other person dutch.

Why do men have to fulfill this role that is forced upon them? Why can’t they choose how they should react to situations? Why are they considered weak if they try to support women or believe in equality? Think about it.

That the ones who show less emotions score more with the ladies. But that's not entirely true. Be a man who can be sensitive and strong at the same time. Be a man who is not scared of being alone. A man who is assertive and independent, yet loving and kind. And the ladies will stay by you. Find some time out of your busy schedule to show some love and care to the girls when they need it the most. Be a wanderer and a loner if you like it that way, But don't forget to show some love and care for the women around you.
Women are lot more stronger then men, not just mentally but even physically, not only do they look beautiful in any form, but are also blessed with there caring nature which they have by birth.. What do men need more then this to respect a women??? Handling a family is equivalent to handling a big corporate office.. N she does it very well..Respect her beauty by praising it n don't dis-respect it by passing dirty comments.. Some mentally ill men R**E a women, but dis-respect every women including there mother n sisters with this act... and cause of such mentally ill men, every man is ashamed of being a Male/Man..

What is the purpose of your back muscles?

Your back muscles are the main structural support for your trunk (torso). These muscles help you move your body, including your head, neck, shoulders, arms and legs. Your back muscles work together to allow you to bend over, twist, turn your head and extend your back.

Factors other than aging can increase your risk of spondylosis. These include:

neck injuries

Most people with cervical spondylosis don’t have significant symptoms. If symptoms do occur, they can range from mild to severe and may develop gradually or occur suddenly.

One common symptom is pain around the shoulder blade. Some complain of pain along the arm and in the fingers. The pain might increase when:

standing
sitting
sneezing
coughing
tilting your neck backward
Another common symptom is muscle weakness. Muscle weakness makes it hard to lift the arms or grasp objects firmly.

Other common signs include:

a stiff neck that becomes worse
headaches that mostly occur in the back of the head
tingling or numbness that mainly affects the shoulders and arms, although it can also occur in the legs
Symptoms that occur less frequently often include a loss of balance and a loss of bladder or bowel control. These symptoms warrant immediate medical attention.
If you have the sudden onset of numbness or tingling in the shoulder, arms, or legs, or if you lose bowel or bladder control, talk to your doctor and seek medical attention as soon as possible. This is a medical emergency.
