🌱 Re-imagining Clean Energy, Empowering Lives 🌱

At Mahindra Susten, our commitment transcends beyond pioneering clean energy solutions; it extends into empowering the future—our children. In FY24, under our “Gyandeep” program, we have taken significant strides in infrastructural educational development. This year, we proudly transformed the learning environments of 3 nos. more schools across India:

1. Govt. ESG School, Badwar, Madhya Pradesh
2. Govt. Primary School, Ajuka Nada, Rajasthan
3. Charanka Primary, Charanka, Gujara

Through these efforts, we’ve reached over 500 students, transforming their schools into hubs of inspiration and learning. Moreover, our WASH projects have significantly improved the facilities by developing toilets, ensuring access to clean drinking water, and installing sanitary pads vending machines, setting a new standard in school infrastructure.

Every wall now tells a story of potential and dreams, motivating our nation’s young minds to build a better future for themselves and for our planet. To date, our initiatives have revitalized 8 schools in rural India, close to our project locations, impacting countless lives and fostering sustainable communities.

To date, under our community engagement we have transformed 8 nos. schools near our project sites into beacons of hope and progress. We’re inspiring a new generation to dream bigger and contribute to a sustainable future.

We further continue to pave pathways for prosperity and planet-friendly progress.

Last week, a group of students from Mount Mary High School, Goregaon, embarked on a journey of discovery as they visited our Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Karjat, Mumbai, to delve into the workings of renewable power.

The students displayed a remarkable level of curiosity and engagement, eager to understand the intricacies of each component that contributes to the functioning of renewable energy. From solar panels to wind turbines, they immersed themselves in learning, asking insightful questions and exploring the possibilities that renewable energy holds for a greener future.

Their visit not only highlighted their passion for sustainability but also served as a testament to the collective effort towards a brighter, more sustainable future. Seeing their enthusiasm and dedication within our CoE reaffirmed our belief that together, we are paving the way for a better world powered by renewable energy.

In pursuit of our innovative endeavours, we understand the importance of scientific and research-based education for our children. Upskilling and empowering our children with the power of education has always been our priority. Our STEM Lab in Khari Charnan Girls School, Rajasthan, India and another one that’s under construction in Gujarat, India are a testament to this commitment. Mahindra Susten encourages our children to think scientifically and advocates for their right to education.

In today’s rapidly evolving world, quality education is paramount for shaping future leaders and enabling them to Rise together. Through our community engagement program near our project locations in remote areas of our nation, we are committed to developing modern education infrastructure that provides a unique mindset and approach to the students. Our STEM Labs, like the one at Khari Charnan Girls School in Rajasthan, exemplify this commitment and have already started to transform the educational journey of over 500 young girls in this remote village.

With our modern STEM lab facilities and relentless commitment towards our young local stakeholders, we are breaking down barriers and empowering these students to dream bigger than ever before. Our mission is to establish more STEM labs in communities around our renewable power projects, and we’re excited to announce that another lab will soon be launched in Gujarat.
