Eye doc conferences! Attended one after almost two years!

Can you guess the differences in both the photos?
Both the photos are from a patient with diabetic retinopathy. The photo on the left has abnormal blood vessels in the retina ( red circles). These can rupture and cause bleeding inside the eye leading to loss of vision
The photos on the right side are of the same eye after retinal laser. The abnormal vessels have clearly disappeared thus saving the patients eye from vision loss..
Retinal lasers are sight saving treatment for diabetic retinal diseases.

Last week, staff and volunteers of Elixir Eye clinic and Retina Center along with Saara Social Foundation Conducted an eye testing camp for children from the municipalty school and surrounding communities in the Antop Hill area. More than 130 children were tested and treated.
We thank the organisers of Saara Social Foundation and all volunteers who participated in this community outreach initiative.
