The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (Remote Centre, ADGIPS) in association with NITTTR, Chandigarh is organising a one week Faculty Development Program on "Network Science Using Python". The FDP will be held from 13.05.2024-17.05.2024 .

This FDP aims to provide an opportunity for participants to enrich their knowledge and skills in developing various solutions for solving engineering problems in the society using Network Science.

Department of Civil Engineering ( NBA Accredited) organized Industrial Visit at Delhi's Tallest Residential Building Project 182m, Amaryllis by Unity Group on 2nd May 2024 for students of Civil Engineering Department. Students learned about how developers build projects and how it's management is done. They also learned about latest prestressed technology used in buildings. Which type of materials and what grade of concrete is required for such kind of projects was also highlighted.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science with its official society Datazoic organized an industrial visit on 25th April, 2024 at DCRUST, Murthal for the students. The purpose of the visit is to promote an awareness program on AICTE IDEA Lab. The visit started with a lecture followed by live practicals performed by students on their own under guidance DCRUST Idea Lab Expert.

ECE Department (NBA Accredited ) of ADGIPS, Delhi had organized a workshop on the topic of Basics of Robotics and Basics of LabVIEW by Ms. Suvarna Mujumdar, Centre Incharge, NI labView Academy, AKGEC skills foundation, on 22nd April, 2024.

Department of Civil Engineering (NBA Accredited) with its official society Neev, organized Alumni Talk on Role of Quality Engineer in Construction Industry by Mr. Anuj Sharma ( Batch 2019-2023), Quality Engineer, Kerakoll India Private Limited on 26th April 2024. He encouraged students to acquire skills required for Industry, what is the current scenario of market and how one can achieve his/her dream just be changing perspective towards things. He also highlighted importance of learning Green Building Technology and Sustainable Development which is advance technique used in current scenario.

Various components of Barrage & Water divergence was highlighted during this visit. How flow of water is controlled and diverted using weir and barrage was explained.
