‘Women’s Day’ is a day when women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political. Since those early years, International Women's Day has assumed a new global dimension for women in developed and developing countries alike.

To mark this day, Rotary club of Siliguri Medics in association with Royalzz Dental clinic & The Microbes Diagnositics conducted a Health Camp at the N.F.Railway Mazdoor Union situated at GateBazar.

Well known Gynaecologist and Rtn Dr. Pronomita Ghosh, young and dynamic Dr Atulana Roy (M.D.S Prosthodontics), Dr. Manisha (Dentist), Dr. Niladri Haldar (MD Pathology) with his team The Microbes Diagnostics consulted around 82 patients.

Blood Pressure, pulse and Blood sugar tests were offered to all free of cost.

The motto of Rotary for the yr 2024 is to “Create Hope In The World”. In a gesture to live up to the motto, Rotary Club of Siliguri Medics in association with Social worker Sukanto Basu and Ichhedana Foundation conducted a Health Camp at the Dhupguri Girls’ College on 21 st February 2024.

Around 80 patients of all ages including residents of nearby villages were given thorough health checkup by Rtn Dr. Pronomita Ghosh (Gynaecologist). Medicines were distributed free of cost. On spot Blood pressure , pulse , weight were taken and Haemoglobin test was conducted for all.

A small Heath talk on Menstrual Hygiene and Balanced nutrition for young girls and women of reproductive age group was given by Rtn. Dr. Pronomita Ghosh .

Special thanks to Principal of Dhupguri Girls’ College and to Assistant Professor Amina Parveen (in charge NSS unit ) for gracing us with the wonderful opportunity and lovely felicitation in the end .

Wonderful feeling after hosting a health talk show with the Teachers and Staff of Birla Jyoti School, Uttorayon.

Health awareness campaigns enable patients/public to better understand their health conditions and the options and treatments they can access. Absolute necessity in schools and workplaces these days.

“Cancer has an Answer”
A very beautiful and meaningful quote that inspires many cancer patients and their family.
To commemorate the 8th anniversary “Manisha Nandi Cancer Foundation” organised a platform where the distance between public and imminent doctors of the city was bridged.
Breast self examination was taught.
The take home message was “Prevention is better than Cure”…
