While talking to Dr Rubeena bhat incharge of Resident Doctors Association SKIMS soura said Resident Doctors association have received representation from various MD/MS doctors appearing in National Board of Examinations (NBE) to offer admition in DM/MCH courses.

The examination is scheduled on 9th and 10th of September 2023 and registration has been started from 27th july .These aspirants said due to non availability of centre at Srinagar is forcing them to opt for centers at other states and left them in deep lurch. Some of them were not able to appear in examination last year due to same reasons.

So we are requesting concerned authority to provide examination centre's at srinagar so candidates are not made to suffer unnecessarily.we have already written letter to honourable LG for seeking intervention in this matter and we hope for a good response as there is no reason for not having centres at srinagar. Selection Criteria should Be multiple choice question Based Examination, Dr Rubeena Bhat .

DR RUBEENA BHAT most renowned doctor of valley and vice president of RDA SKIMS Soura said recent order no. ( vide 282 jk (HME) of 2023 dated 4-4-2023) reads that the selection criteria for engagement of faculty and posts of senior residents in SKIMS and different medical colleges of UT would be decided on MBBS marks percentage which will contribute to 75 percent of total points, which is discriminatory because marking pattern varies from country to country. In India we are having very strict marking in our MBBS examinations as compared to foreign countries like Bangladesh, Russia, etc where marking pattern is liberal. So for recruitment of these posts, we are requesting them to follow the same multiple choice questions based examinations which is being practiced in prestigious institutions of India like AIIMS delhi, PGI chandigarh, MAMC, RML. Our demand is very genuine in this regard.
