Repeal of Article 370

Article 370 write a short note
Article 370 was a provision in the Indian Constitution that granted special autonomous status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It was introduced in 1949, shortly after India gained independence, and gave the state its own constitution, flag, and control over its internal affairs, while the Indian government retained control over defense, foreign affairs, and communications.
The article was controversial, as some saw it as a temporary provision meant to allow Jammu and Kashmir to integrate fully into India, while others saw it as a permanent arrangement that cemented the state's status as a distinct entity within India.
In August 2019, the Indian government revoked Article 370, citing national security concerns and the need to integrate Jammu and Kashmir more fully into India. The move was highly controversial, and has led to protests, political tensions, and a heightened security presence in the region.
Today, Jammu and Kashmir is governed by the same laws as the rest of India, and the state's special status has been abolished. The long-term implications of this move are still unclear, and it continues to be a topic of debate and controversy in India.

Bail in Indian law.

What is Bail in Indian Penal code
Bail in Indian Penal Code refers to the temporary release of an accused person who is awaiting trial or sentencing, upon the deposit of security or guarantee.
Under the Indian Penal Code, bail is governed by Sections 436 to 450 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The provisions of the Indian Penal Code provide the legal framework for granting bail to an accused person.
Section 436 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, provides that a person accused of a bailable offense shall be released on bail, unless the court sees reasonable grounds for believing that the accused will not appear for trial or will commit further offenses while on bail.
Section 437 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, provides for the grant of bail in non-bailable offenses, subject to certain conditions. The court may grant bail in such cases if it is satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for believing that the accused is not guilty of the offense and that he is not likely to commit any offense while on bail.
Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, provides for the power of the High Court and the Sessions Court to grant bail in certain circumstances. These courts may grant bail to any person who is in custody for an offense that is punishable with imprisonment for a term exceeding three years.
Overall, bail is a legal provision in India that allows an accused person to be released from custody until their trial or sentencing, subject to certain conditions. The provisions governing bail in India are designed to balance the rights of the accused with the interests of justice and the safety of the community.
