نؤمن بقدرة المتطوعين في صناعة التغيير وخلق الاستقرار وتعزيز السلام، ومن أجل هذا المنطلق أسسنا برنامج المتطوعين في عملنا في العراق.
هذا اليوم يصادف اليوم الدولي للمتطوعين ونودّ أن نشكر ونتضامن مع المتطوعين على جهودهم ونهنّأهم بهذا اليوم ونتمنى لهم دوام الموفقية.

We believe in the ability of volunteers to make change, create stability and promote peace, and for this reason we established the Volunteers Program in our work in Iraq.
This day coincides with the International Day of Volunteers, and we would like to thank and express our solidarity with the volunteers for their efforts, and congratulate them on this day and wish them continued success.

نشعر بحزن عميق إزاء نبأ الحريق المأساوي الذي اندلع خلال حفل زفاف في مدينة بغديدا في محافظة نينوى، والذي تسبب في خسارة العديد من الأرواح البريئة. وهناك حديث عن سقوط ما لا يقل عن 100 ضحية وأكثر من 150 جريحاً، بعضهم مصاب بحروق خطيرة للغاية. في مركز قضاء الحمدانية، نعمل منذ أكثر من 10 سنوات، قبل احتلال داعش، جنبًا إلى جنب مع الأقليات الدينية في برامج بناء السلام وإعادة بناء المدارس ومرافق الرعاية الصحية.

تلقينا في هذه الساعات طلب دعم من مستشفى "الحروق" في الموصل، المرفق العام الوحيد في محافظة نينوى المتخصص في علاج الحروق. نحن ندعم هذا المستشفى بالفعل، وقد انتهينا بالأمس فقط من تجهيز غرفتي الطوارئ في المستشفى، اللتين تكتظان في هذا الوقت.

وبالتنسيق مع شركائنا، نرى ما يمكننا القيام به أيضًا للاستجابة لحالة الطوارئ. في الوقت الحالي، يقوم موظفونا المحليون بتوزيع الأقنعة والقفازات، ويدعوون جميع جهات الاتصال لدينا للتبرع بالدم، وهو أمر مطلوب بشكل عاجل. ولحسن الحظ لم يتأثر أي من موظفينا المحليين ولكن العديد من أحبائهم تأثروا.

في هذا اليوم المليء بالألم والحزن، نود أن نعرب عن خالص تعازينا من إيطاليا لأسر الضحايا ولجميع الأشخاص المتضررين من هذه المأساة الرهيبة. كل قربنا من الشعب العراقي.
We feel deep sorrow over the tragic fire that broke out during a wedding in the city of Baghdida in Ninawa Province, which resulted in the loss of many innocent lives. There are reports of at least 100 fatalities and over 150 injuries, some of them with serious burns. In the center of Hamdaniya district, we have been working for more than 10 years, alongside religious minorities, on peacebuilding programs, rebuilding schools, and healthcare facilities.

We received a support request from the "Burns" hospital in Mosul, the only public facility in Ninawa Province specialized in burn treatment. We are already supporting this hospital, and we have just finished equipping two emergency rooms in the hospital, which are crowded at this time.

In coordination with our partners, we are also looking into what we can do to respond to the emergency situation. Currently, our local staff are distributing masks and gloves, and calling on all our contacts to donate blood, which is urgently needed. Fortunately, none of our local staff were affected, but many of their loved ones were.

On this day filled with pain and sorrow, we wish to express our deepest condolences from Italy to the families of the victims and to all those affected by this terrible tragedy. We stand with the Iraqi people.

The Mosul Center organized a general cleaning campaign in one of the neighborhoods of Mosul in order to urge people to preserve the environment and encourage them to contribute to cleaning their cities and protecting their environment and climate.

Nowadays, the world witnesses climate change and significant damage to the environment. Raising awareness is not enough; communities must contribute to protecting the environment and achieving environmental justice through interventions, methods, activities, and projects worldwide, especially in Iraq, which suffers from climate fluctuations and numerous environmental problems that directly affect human life.

Sayed Hamad Volunteer Center organized a general cleaning campaign in the village of Al-Jarf in order to prepare it and turn it into a football field and encourage maintaining general cleanliness from waste.

The Muhalabiya Volunteer Center organized a general cleaning campaign in one of the villages in the Muhallabiya sub-district in order to urge people to care about the environment and protect it from pollution.

The Bashiqa volunteer center organized a cleaning campaign for a public park, planting trees, and raising banners in solidarity for protecting the environment from pollution and enhancing the role of the community in preserving the environment and climate.

- نحن نفخر بأنّنا نساهم بالوصول إلى الفئات الأكثر تهميشاً وحرماناً من أبسط حقوقهم!

نظّم مركز متطوعي ديالى ضمن برنامج متطوّعي منظمة تدريباً لمدّة يومين لمجموعة شباب من قرية الغجر بعد زيارتهم أكثر من مرّة، حيث تضمّن التدريب تسهيل تعزيز حقوق الغجر في الوصول إلى التعليم وتعزيز دورهم في المجتمع للمشاركة في كافة الجوانب المجتمعية وجعلهم جزء من المجتمع من أجل تمكينهم للعمل في مجال المجتمع المدني والدفاع عن حقوقهم.

هذ التدريب هو جزء من مبادرة " متطوعون من أجل حقوق تعليم الأطفال " التي ينفّذها برنامج متطوعي منظمة بتمويل من معهد انعدام الجنسية والإدماج.

- We are proud to contribute to reaching the most marginalized and deprived groups of their basic rights!

The Diyala Volunteers Center organized a two-day training for a group of young people from the Gypsy village as part of the Volunteer Program after visiting them more than once, where the training included facilitating the promotion of Gypsy rights to access education and enhancing their role in society to participate in all social aspects and make them part of the community in order to empower them to work in the field of civil society and defend their rights.

This training is part of the "Volunteers for Children's Education Right " initiative implemented by Volunteer Program with funding from the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion

السلام لا يعني إيقاف الحرب فقط!

نظّمنا مئات الأنشطة المتعلقة في بناء السلام في العراق والعالم، ونفّذنا عشرات المشاريع المتعلقة بالسلام وشاهدنا نتائجها بين الشباب وبين المجتمعات، لكن السلام يحتاج الى الاستمرار والجهود المستمرة لإخماد نيران الحرب والنزاعات والكراهية.

بمناسبة يوم السلام العالمي نستمر في دعم السلام في العراق ونواصل عملنا في هذا المجال ونرفض رفضاً قاطعاً كافة أشكال الحرب والكراهية والعنف والتطرف.
نحن بحاجة الى بيئة مليئة بالسلام ترعى جمال الحياة، تبني غابة من الحب، تجسد الاستقرار وتروج لكافة مفاهيم التماسك.

كل عام والعالم بسلام دائم.
Peace does not only mean the cessation of war!

We have organized hundreds of peace-building activities in Iraq and around the world, and we have implemented dozens of projects related to peace. We have witnessed their results among young people and communities. However, peace requires continuity and continuous efforts to extinguish the fires of war, conflict, and hatred.

On the occasion of World Peace Day, we continue to support peace in Iraq and continue our work in this field. We categorically reject all forms of war, hatred, violence, and extremism.
We need an environment filled with peace that nurtures the beauty of life, builds a forest of love, embodies stability, and promotes all concepts of cohesion.

Wishing the world a lasting peace every year.

الثاني عشر من آب يصادف اليوم العالمي للشباب، حيث بدأ عملنا مع الشباب وساهمنا بتمكين الشباب وتأسيس المجتمع المدني في العراقي الذي إنطلق مع الشباب ليقود ظاهرة حضارية تساهم في خلق التغيير، وما زلنا مستمرين بدعم الشباب في العراق من خلال المشاريع التي نصممّها.

اليوم يركّز العالم على خلق مساحات خضراء من أجل إنقاذ البيئة والمناخ من التغييرات وكلّ هذا الشيء يكون ممكناً بفضل قدرات الشباب الذين سيساهمون بصناعة التغيير.

نطلب من الحكومة الإهتمام بالشباب وتوفير الفرص لهم، وتعزيز قرار 2250 من اجل أن يخلقوا نهضة في مدنهم ويساعدوا على تعزيز الاستقرار وحماية البيئة والحد من التغييرات المناخية.

On the 12 of August, we celebrate International Youth Day, where our work with young people began and we have contributed to empowering them and establishing civil society in Iraq, which has emerged with the youth leading a cultural phenomenon that contributes to creating change.

We continue to support the youth in Iraq through the projects we design. Today, the world focuses on creating green spaces to save the environment and climate from changes, and all of this is possible thanks to the capabilities of the youth who will contribute to making a difference.

We asked the government prioritize the youth and provide opportunities for them, and enhance the implementation of Resolution 2250 in order for them to create a renaissance in their cities and help promote stability, protect the environment, and mitigate climate change

عملت منظمة منذ تأسيسها على تعزيز كافة المفاهيم الدولية التي اتفقت عليها الأمم المتحدة، وكذلك ساهمنا في تعزيز كافة القيم التي تحمي حقوق الإنسان وحقوق الأقليات والشعوب الأصيلة وما زلنا نعمل على تحقيق بيئة سليمة خالية من العنف والتهميش والإضطهاد والتطرف، بيئة سلمية ومستقرة.
التاسع من آب يُصادف اليوم الدولي للسكّان الأصليين في العالم ونحن نستذكر تهجير أهالي سهل نينوى وسنجار في هذه الأيام العصيبة، نطلب من الحكومة أن تحمي الشعوب المجتمعات الأصلية في العراق من أجل تعزيز هويتهم الثقافية والإجتماعية للمضي قدماً في تحقيق ثروة التنوع الموجودة في العراق.
Since its establishment, the has worked on promoting all the international concepts agreed upon by the United Nations. We have also contributed to enhancing all the values that protect human rights, minority rights, and indigenous peoples' rights. We continue to work towards achieving a safe environment free from violence, marginalization, persecution, and extremism; an environment that is peaceful and stable.

Today, the 9 of August, marks the International Day of Indigenous Peoples worldwide. During these challenging days, we remember the displacement of the residents of the Nineveh Plain and Sinjar. We urge the government to protect the indigenous communities in Iraq in order to enhance their cultural and social identity and to move forward in realizing the wealth of diversity present in Iraq.

لقد خلّفت الحرب العديد من المشاكل ومن أكثرها خطورة قضية اللاجئين التي للآن تواجه بلدان العالم.

لقد عملنا مع اللاجئين في كافة أماكن عملنا وفي العراق عملنا بشكل مباشر مع اللاجئين السوريين في مخيمات إقليم كردستان العراق على مشاريع الصحة النفسية والعقلية والانجابية وتقديم رعاية خاصة للاجئين وكذلك مشاريع خاصة بسبل المعيشة والانشطة الرياضية والثقافية وأنشطة بناء السلام، وما زلنا مستمرين في دعم حقوق اللاجئين من أجل انصافهم حتى تستطيع الحكومات ان تحميهم من الحروب والنزاعات والعنف.

في اليوم العالمي للاجئ نجدد دعواتنا للحكومات والمانحين والمؤسسات الدولية والمحلية بحماية حقوق اللاجئين وصيانة كرامتهم وتوفير بيئة آمنة لهم.

The war has created many problems, the most serious of which is the issue of refugees, which is now facing the countries of the world.

We have worked with refugees in all our places of work and in Iraq. We have worked directly with Syrian refugees in the camps of the Kurdistan region of Iraq on mental and reproductive health projects, providing special care for refugees, as well as projects related to livelihoods, sports and cultural activities, and peacebuilding activities, and we are still continuing to support the rights of refugees. For their fairness so that governments can protect them from wars, conflicts and violence.

On World Refugee Day, we renew our calls to governments, donors, and international and local NGOs to protect the rights of refugees, preserve their dignity, and provide them with a safe environment.

لقد كان تأثير العنف الجنسي في حالات النزاع في مجتمعاتنا كبيراً وترك العديد من المشاكل النفسية والجسدية للضحايا، حتّى أنّ بعض الضحايا قد وصلوا إلى طرق الانتحار، ومن هذا المنطلق عملنا كمنظمة على معالجة ضحايا العنف الجنسي وساهمنا بدعم هذا الموضوع، وكانت تدخلاتنا في هذا المجال كثيرة وما زلنا نعمل حتى هذا اليوم لمعالجة مشاكل العنف الجنسي والعنف بصورة عامة.

يجب على الحكومة والمؤسسات الدولية والمحلية أن يساهموا بحماية حقوق الإنسان ومنع كافة أشكال العنف ومناهضتها، في اليوم العالمي لمكافحة العنف الجنسي في حالات النزاع نجدد دعوتنا للعمل في هذا المجال من أجل خلق بيئة خالية من العنف.

The impact of sexual violence in conflict situations in our communities has been significant, leaving many psychological and physical problems for victims. Some victims have even resorted to su***de. For this reason, our organization, has worked on treating victims of sexual violence and supported this issue. Our interventions in this field have been numerous, and we continue to work to this day to address problems of sexual violence, and violence in general.

The government and international and local institutions must contribute to protecting human rights and preventing all forms of violence and confronting them. On the World Day to Combat Sexual Violence in Conflict Situations, we renew our call to work in this area to create an environment free from violence.

- خطابات الكراهية تنخر مجتمعاتنا، لهذا يجب عدم الترويج لها!

لقد كنّا من الاوائل الذين اشتغلوا على مناهضة خطابات الكراهية من خلال التدريبات التي قدّمناها في صحافة السلام والإعلام من أجل السلام وما زلنا نعمل في تخفيف خطابات الكراهية والحد منها من أجل تعزيز الاستقرار.

في اليوم العالمي لمكافحة خطابات الكراهية ندعو الحكومة اتخاذ اجراءات رادعة للذين يبثّون خطابات كراهية سواء كانوا مؤسسات أم افراد أو كيانات وتشريع قوانين تمنع الترويج لخطابات الكراهية.

- Hate speech is eating away at our societies, so it should not be promoted!

We were among the first INGO to work on combating hate speech through the trainings we provided in Peace Journalism and Media for Peace, and we are still working to mitigate and limit hate speech in order to enhance stability.

On the International Day to Combat Hate Speech, we call on the government to take deterrent measures against those who broadcast hate speech, whether they are institutions, individuals or entities, and to enact laws that prevent the promotion of hate speech.

أقمنا في مركز متطوعي سيد حمد بالتعاون مع مؤسسة السلام المستدام جلستين حواريتين مجتمعيتين لأكثر لأربعين شاب وشابة فضلاً عن الأباء والأمهات حول موضوع "تزويج القاصرات والعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي" وخاصة بعد زيادة هذه الظواهر من أجل التخفيف والوقاية منها.

We held at the Sayed Hamad Volunteers Center, in cooperation with the Sustainable Peace Foundation, two community dialogue sessions for more than forty young men and women, as well as parents, on the topic of "marriage of minors and gender-based violence," especially after the increase in these phenomena in order to mitigate and prevent them.

احدى ركائز منظمة هي العمل المحافظة على البيئة وتقليل التغييرات المناخية ومخاطرها، وعملنا في العديد من الجوانب في حماية البيئة وساهمنا بتمكين منظمات محلية واعطائها منح للعمل في هذا المجال.
لقد أدى الافراط في الاستخدامات الغير المدروسة للموارد إلى إيذاء البيئة بشكل مباشر منها الإفراط في استخدام الطاقة الكهربائية والمياه والمواد البلاستيكية وزيادة نسبة التلوث من خلال استخدام الوقود وكلّ هذا كان واضحاً بخلق تغيير مناخي ساهم بالتأثير المباشر على حياة الناس وبالتالي كان نقطة تحوّل في حياتهم.
يصادف 5 حزيران اليوم العالمي للبيئة وندعوا كافة الجهات الحكومية والغير الحكومية العمل على المساهمة في تكثيف جهودهم للعمل في هذا المجال وحماية البيئة والمناخ.

One of the pillars of the is work to preserve the environment and reduce climate change and its risks. We worked in many aspects in protecting the environment and contributed to empowering local organizations and giving them grants to work in this field.
Excessive unintended use of resources has directly harmed the environment, including the excessive use of electric power, water and plastic materials and the increase in the percentage of pollution through the use of fuel, and all of this was evident in the creation of climate change that contributed to a direct impact on people's lives and thus was a turning point in their lives.

June 5 coincides with World Environment Day, and we call on all governmental and non-governmental agencies to work to contribute to intensifying their efforts to work in this field and to protect the environment and climate.

متطوّعوا UPP Volunteer program - برنامج متطوعي منظمة جسر إلى يقومون بتعزيز مفاهيم السلام من خلال الدين، إذ يلعب الدين دوراً مهماً في التخفيف من الكراهية والعنف، حيث أقام مركز متطوعي بعشيقة زيارة لأحد مزارات الايزيديين في بعشيقة للتعرف عليه، وكذلك قام رجل الدين الايزيدي بشرح طرق تعزيز السلام والعيش المشترك من خلال المشتركات المتواجدة في الدين.

- لم يعد العنف مبرراً أبداً، لقد ازدادت حالات العنف في المجتمع بشكل كبير، وكذلك حالات تزويج الأطفال ومنعهم من الدراسة، لهذا أصبح لزاماً علينا أن نساهم بمناهضة كافة أشكال العنف وحالات تزويج الأطفال!

بالتعاون مع مؤسسة السلام المستدام أقمنا جلستين حواريتين لمجموعة من شباب وفتيات ناحية النمرود من أجل تعزيز التوعية في هذين الموضوعين والحد منهما في المجتمع.

- Violence is no longer justified, cases of violence in society have increased dramatically, as well as cases of child marriage and preventing them from studying, so it has become necessary for us to contribute to combating all forms of violence and cases of child marriage!

In cooperation with the Sustainable Peace Foundation, we held two dialogue sessions for a group of young men and women in Nimrud sub-district in order to raise awareness of these two issues and reduce them in society.

نؤمن بأنّ الرياضة تساهم في خلق جسور من التواصل وتزيل جدران الكراهية والتطرف، ومن أجل هذا نواصل أنشطتنا الرياضية في مركز متطوعي سيد حمد، وهو أحد المراكز المهمة التي يديرها مجموعة متطوعين يعملون من أجل صناعة التغيير في قراهم ومناطقهم ويساهمون بتعزيز مفاهيم المجتمع المدني من خلال الفن والرياضة والتوعية والمبادرات والتدريبات المختلفة.

We believe that sport contributes to creating bridges of communication and removes walls of hatred and extremism. For this reason, we continue our sports activities at the Sayed Hamad Volunteers Center, which is one of the important centers run by a group of volunteers working to make change in their villages and regions and contribute to promoting the concepts of civil society through art. Sports, awareness, initiatives and various trainings.

- تعتبر دور العبادة إحدى طرق تعزيز الحوار في نينوى!

نظّم مركز متطوعي بعشيقة ضمن برنامج متطوعي منظمة بمشاركة شباب من عدّة أديان وقوميات جلسة حول "دور النساء في تعزيز الحوار" في دير مار متي في ناحية بعشيقة، حيث تضمّنت المبادرة جلسات حوارية حول دور المرأة في تعزيز الحوار ومن ثمّ نقاش مفتوح حول دور الدين في تعزيز السلام والتسامح، وبعد انتهت الجوانب النقاشية، زار المتطوعون الدير ليتعرّفوا على التراث والإرث الثقافي والديني للدير وبعدها توجّهوا إلى مقام الإمام رضا في ناحية بعشيقة.
جاء هذا النشاط لتعزيز التلاحم والتشبيك من أجل مناهضة التطرف والتعصب والترويج لبيئة خالية من العنف تساهم بتعزيز التنوع وثقافة قبول الآخر.

- Places of worship are one of the ways to promote dialogue in Nineveh!

The Bashiqa Volunteer Center as part of the volunteer program organized a session on "the role of women in promoting dialogue" with the participation of young people from several religions in the Mar Matti monastery in Bashiqa sub-district, where the initiative included dialogue sessions on the role of women in promoting dialogue and then an open discussion on the role of religion in promoting peace and tolerance. After the discussion aspects ended, the volunteers visited the monastery to learn about the heritage and cultural and religious heritage of the monastery and then headed to the Imam Reza shrine in Bashiqa sub-district.
This activity was to promote cohesion and networking in order to combat extremism and intolerance and promote a non-violent environment that contributes to promoting diversity and a culture of acceptance of the other.

- حماية البيئة تساهم بحماية وجودنا على الأرض!

تعتبر تدخّلات منظمة في مجال البيئة والمناخ من المجالات المهمة، حيث ساهمنا بتأسيس العديد من المنظمات التي عملت في هذا المجال وما زالت مستمرة، فضلا عن أنّنا ساهمنا في العديد من الأنشطة والتي تضمنت حملات التشجير وحملات التوعية والبحوث والمؤتمرات والفعاليات المتنوعة كلّ هذا لتعزيز سبل حماية البيئة.
نظّم مركز متطوعي طوبزاوة ضمن برنامج متطوعي منظمة حملة تشجير في إحدى مدارس قرية الفاضيلة في ناحية بعشيقة، ستساهم هذه الاشجار بخلق بيئة نقيّة وصديقة للطلاب في المدرسة.

- Protecting the environment contributes to protecting our existence on Earth!

The interventions of the organization in the field of environment and climate are considered one of the important areas, as we have contributed to the establishment of many NGOs that have worked in this field and are still continuing, in addition to that we have contributed to many activities, which included Planting trees campaigns, awareness campaigns, research, conferences and various events, all of this to enhance ways environment protection.
The Topzawa Volunteer Center, within the volunteer program, organized a Planting trees campaign in one of the schools in Al-Fadilya village in Bashiqa sub-district. These trees will contribute to creating a clean and student-friendly environment in the school.

تهنّئ أسرة "جسر إلى" الكادحين الذين ساهموا ببناء وطنهم وتوفير جهدهم البدني للخدمة الإنسانية. في هذا اليوم نطلب من الحكومة العراقية أن تلتزم بتنفيذ بنود بالاستراتيجية الوطنية لتطوير القطاع الخاص، إذ يتراوح عدد العاطلين عن العمل من النساء ما يقارب 28% وعدد الرجال 15%
وأنّ نسبة العمال المسجلين في الضمان الإجتماعي 10% فقط وهذا كلّه نتيجة تهرّب الشركات من دفع أجور الضمان للحكومة، كما نطلب أيضاً حلّ مشكلة العمالة الأجنبية التي تؤثّر على العمال في العراق حيث هناك أكثر من مليون عامل أجنبي داخل العراق والمسجلين منهم بصورة رسمية يتجاوز عددهم 71000 فقط.
