Over the past five years, the global wine market has experienced an average annual growth of 5% with France, Italy and the United States accounting for about 60% of the global market. 🍷
🔎According to the report “Italy in the Global Wine Market. Evolution and Prospects,” edited by Valerio Mancini, director of the Rome Business School's Center for Divulgative Research, Italy is among the leading exporting countries, with a value that will exceed 8 billion euros.
“Italy is increasingly focusing on quality-oriented choices, responding to the requests of more exacting and attentive consumers,” Mancini says, “the demand is segmenting toward products of excellence, such as natural and organic wines, opening up new opportunities for Italian wine in emerging markets such as China, India and Poland.”
The domestic market is also evolving: wine is becoming increasingly popular among young people, with a growing focus on the supply chain and sustainable packaging.
🔎Despite the loss of production primacy, Italian wine continues to stand out for the excellence of its products. Seventy percent of Italian bottles are for DOCG, DOC and IGT, underscoring the sector's focus on quality. “Italian wine is increasingly appreciated not only for its history and tradition, but also for its commitment to sustainability and innovation,” Mancini says.
For the Italian wine sector the 2024 promises to be a crucial year: technological innovation, process automation and traceability, including through blockchain, are tools increasingly used by companies to meet the needs of an evolving market. “The adoption of sustainable practices and attention to consumer needs will be key to ensuring the future success of Italian wine companies in an increasingly competitive global context,” Mancini concludes.

At Rome Business School we are daily committed to build a global community of , together with our students. Today we are very proud to present our student's project, one among the many that fully embrace this value and have the potential to generate a positive impact on society, the environment and people.
So, we want to highlight Ur Fridge - Cook with What’s Inside, the innovative project by Regina P. De Gasperis, a student of the International Master in Marketing and Sales, and winner of the latest edition of our
Regina wanted to solve a problem common to many people: the difficulty of creating new and exciting meals with limited ingredients. Her app helps users effectively use what they already have in the kitchen, reducing food waste and turning meal preparation into a fun and creative experience and finally saves time and costs compared to eating out or ordering food.
We are proud to enable, through our Digital Hackathon, young entrepreneurs to put their innovative ideas into practice, and proud to hear words like Regina's during the award ceremony, “This program has been a great opportunity to boost my knowledge, expand my vision, and make significant strides in my career path. Most importantly, it has been instrumental in bringing my idea, ‘Ur Fridge,’ to life. A big thank you to all the advisors, mentors, and the entire RBS team for their invaluable guidance and support throughout this fascinating journey. I couldn’t have done it without you!"
Congratulations again to Regina P. De Gasperis, for developing such a practical and impactful solution!
The long-awaited Graduation Ceremony is coming soon, and with it, the celebration of an extraordinary journey!
Last year, we were moved by the inspiring words of Eszter Szarka, a graduate of the Global Master’s in Human Resources Management. Reflecting on her experience, she shared:
“Talking with my international classmates, we realized that before we chose Rome Business School, we were all looking for a place that could inspire us and make us feel at home. RBS gave us the right people, the right place, and the right time. Starting and finishing something at the same time is one of the most ambivalent things in life, but knowing that we have found our little home in the people we have experienced the same experience with gives us the feeling of coming home after a long day.”
Eszter's words encapsulate the essence of studing at Rome Business School: a journey filled with challenges, discoveries, and encounters that have shaped the lives of so many students.
Each of you has lived moments of growth, passion, and transformation. We’ve seen the dedication and commitment you’ve invested in every step, and we hope Eszter’s words remind you of the strength and excitement to reach this final milestone.

One of the most challenging yet rewarding moments for an RBS student is the Capstone Project presentation. It's the culmination of all their learning, offering a hands-on experience in developing a strategic business plan aimed at solving a real problem for a company, all while working in a team.
We are glad to present the project "Vivienne Westwood x Save the Children: A Fashionable Approach to Children's Education" by Endgel Poncio da Cruz, Itzel Hernández, Liteboho Matsoso, and María Alejandra García.
The proposal from the students of the Master in International Fashion Management is to launch an eye-catching limited edition heart-shaped cactus leather bag called the 'Vivienne Westwood x Save The Children Heart Bag.' Designed to promote conscious consumption and social impact, this initiative targets socially conscious 18-35 year olds, leveraging Vivienne Westwood's iconic status and supporting sustainability through the use of Desserto, a plant-based material derived from cactus.
"The desire to implement a project that would positively impact society and the market was a shared goal for all of us", said the project team leader. "We wanted to propose an initiative with a purpose beyond consumption, aligning with the ethos of both brands involved. Our solidarity project focuses on Save the Children's efforts to support and improve girls' education in Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Mozambique, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. At the same time, we were inspired by the values upheld by fashion designer and activist Vivienne Westwood. Her brand mantra, 'Buy less, Choose well, Make it last,' aligns perfectly with our collective vision and the mission of Save The Children".
At RBS, we are committed to educating talents to become future leaders, capable of managing business activities with an innovative, sustainable perspective that emphasizes the centrality of the individual and employs an ethical, socially responsible approach.
We are very proud of our students' purposeful Capstone Project, which embodies these values. A heartfelt thank you to them and Save the Children for their collaboration.

EMUNI University is a distinguished international, post-graduate higher-education and research institution fully integrated into the Euro-Mediterranean Area. "Together, we can offer our students enhanced learning experiences and opportunities, particularly in general business management, and bring added value to our shared goals of fostering economic, cultural, and social understanding."
The MoU, signed by the RBS Dean Antonio Ragusa and General Manager Maria Angeles Martos Molina of Rome Business School (RBS), and Prof. Rado Bohinc, President at EMUNI University, sets the stage for a multifaceted partnership.

A few weeks ago, our International MBA students had the incredible opportunity to participate in a team-building activity at the Italian Chef Academy in Rome! 🧑🍳
Under the expert guidance of Chef Daniela Cocilova, our students dove into the rich tradition of Italian cuisine, preparing two classic dishes: ravioli cacio e pepe and strangozzi with zucchini scapece. Throughout the session, they learned essential cooking techniques and secrets, putting their pasta-making skills to the test.
The experience culminated in a delightful tasting of their creations, allowing students to savor the fruits of their hard work while reinforcing the bonds of teamwork. This hands-on experience was particularly unique, as participants cooked at individual stations equipped with state-of-the-art tools and received guidance from top-notch faculty.
The value of this team-building exercise extended far beyond the kitchen. By working together, students not only honed their culinary skills but also strengthened their ability to communicate effectively and solve problems collaboratively. These interpersonal skills are crucial for future professional success, as they enhance the ability to work within diverse teams and navigate complex workplace dynamics.
A heartfelt thank you to Chef Cocilova for providing such a transformative experience! This activity underscored the importance of teamwork in both culinary and professional settings, reminding us that collaboration and shared experiences are key to achieving our goals.

At Rome Business School, we believe that bridging the gap between academia and the job market requires broadening our perspectives. This is why we are committed to creating a multicultural and diverse learning environment.
Today, we are the most international business school in Italy, with over 2,348 students from 153 countries. Students choose Rome Business School not only for a high-quality education but also to connect with new perspectives and build strong, lasting relationships that transcend geographical boundaries.
Every year, our students have the opportunity to participate in more than 209 national and international events in collaboration with multinational companies, including colloquia, conferences, workshops, webinars, and meetings. Among these opportunities are international bootcamps, which are week-long intensive programs focusing on specific topics in collaboration with our partner institutions and the Department of International Relations.
The aim is for students to immerse themselves in an international business environment through specialised classes, company visits and meetings with industry experts. Bootcamps are also a valuable opportunity to expand students' international networks with their peers from different master's programmes and backgrounds, as well as with representatives of international companies.
In this regard, Eleonora Mantovani, Head of the International Relations department at Rome Business School, told us: "By 2024, we have planned 10 different destinations for our students, mobilizing 465 students worldwide."
We are proud of the connections and network we create daily and annually between students, professionals and companies because they have a huge impact on the careers and future path of our students.
Some students are still in the middle of their learning journey with us, while others face their greatest challenge as they finish their Master: the Capstone Project.
It is a very important moment in each student's path with RBS, the time when they have a chance to practice and showcase the skills and abilities they have learned and developed during the master's program by presenting their project to the Academic Committee.
It is a teamwork-based project with the goal of developing a business solution with a clear action plan for implementation, and students are guided by the Program Director and industry leaders from the early stages of the project.
Today we present the first project carried out by 5 students of the International Master in HR and Organization: Réka Szendrődi , Alessandra Ciavardini, Giulia Maiotti, Alessia Puglisi and Edoardo Tomei.
The group's project entitled “Retention and Attraction Issues in Nonprofit Companies” aims to highlight the most commonly used practices in nonprofit organizations, from a human resources perspective, to attract and retain employees with career prospects.
The students considered the NGO Save the Children Italy as a case study, discussing the initial results obtained by interviewing their HR Manager, meanwhile analyzing turnover data in order to design a strategy that includes the implementation of different types of benefits rather than monetary increases, with the goal of providing an effective employee attraction and retention strategy.
RBS is committed to educate talents to become future leaders, able to manage business activities from an innovative, sustainable perspective, attentive to the centrality of the individual, using an ethical and socially responsible approach to the enterprise.
We are very much glad of our student's proposeful capstone project, which goes right in this direction, and heartful thank to them and Save the Children
