Un calendario Perpetuo!
!

Ogni giorno narrerà lo scorrere del tempo tramite un’architettura visiva che disegna ombre sempre diverse, in base a come il sole si muove durante la giornata e come le luci artificiali lo illumineranno.

Poi la sera… quando tutte le luci verranno spente, e la notte sopraggiunge, tutto finisce. La mattina seguente, al nuovo sorgere, tutto ricomincia… in uno scorrere inesorabile di giorni, stagioni, colori e atmosfere che rendono ogni giornata unica, ma parte di quel grande viaggio che è la vita.

Do you know?
We eat a credit card of plastic every week. All of us. Every week.

Lo sappiamo, siamo di parte! Ci piace la carta!

Ma pensiamo sia arrivato il tempo.
Smettere con la produzione di plastica.

La Plastica:
Materiale nato per essere sostenibile, in difesa degli elefanti cacciati per zanne di avorio usate all’epoca per fare p***e da biliardo… oggi non lo è più. Diventato poi nuovo materiale in quel campo che si stava formando del design… Oggi è solo un eterno rifiuto.

Usato in enorme misura nell’usa e getta! Non lo lavo ma lo getto.
Nuovo concetto d’uso… che in diciamo 40 anni ha ucciso il pianeta.
Come: Ma dove lo getto se non sempre nel mio pianeta? E se non si distrugge?

Ummmmmm

Do cibo che sembra il loro, buono, luccicante… a Pesci, mammiferi, uccelli, tartarughe, Umani Sapiens, geni, nani e giganti etc… che mangiano a loro volta cibo che sembra il loro. Ma nel nostro sangue, ora c’è la plastica. Ummmm

Talmente tanta al mondo la plastica… che noi finiamo per mangiarla.

Ummmm. Umm.

The Temple of Paper

This year we had the honour to design the Gmund Award Trophy, given to the best projects with Gmund Paper during the Unfolded Festival 2023

We have designed a column of paper to celebrate paper and its history.

Plastic is destroving the world.
Paper, on the other hand, has grown us, given us all culture, entertainment and knowledge, leading us to where we are, here, today.
Paper has taught us, emotionalized us, made us grow, throughout the centuries. Many centuries.

“Affetti e oggetti”
Perché le cose, gli oggetti, non sono solo oggetti. Da anni, alcuni prodotti, tra cui anche i nostri, li chiamo “amici” ora ne conosco il perché di questa innata relazione che ho con loro.

Un altro bellissimo libro letto questa estate alla ricerca del design di un tempo che tanto crediamo essere forse l’unico.

Carlo e Livia Castiglioni ( ) raccontano a 4 mani la vita di Achille Castiglioni proprio dalla doppia prospettiva degli AFFETTI e OGGETTI.

Un enorme grazie a loro, per condividere con il mondo intero storie e racconti privati dei senza tempo Castiglioni. Giganti tra i giganti del design.
Spero presto di potervi incontrare in Fondazione.

Di chi sono le case vuote?

Un altro bellissimo libro di uno dei giganti del design.
Ettore Sottsass, uno che il design lo ha inventato quando non esisteva, amico e collega di uno dei miei personali maestri: che per sempre ringrazierò per tutti gli insegnamenti ricevuti.

Leggi i pensieri di questi maestri del passato, e non so perché ma hai subito voglia di leggerne un altro.

È proprio così , ho letto “Per qualcuno può essere lo spazio” e “Di chi sono le case vuote?” ed ora non vedo l’ora di leggere “Molto difficile da dire” di

THE GMUND AWARD CEREMONY (part 2):

During the GMUND Award Ceremony Florian Kohler, CEO of Gmund Paper has awarded all the categories and also Mr. Shigeru Takeo, President & CEO of 竹尾 ／ TAKEO CO., LTD. He received the Gmund Award Trophy designed by Tommaso Gentile and an unique calligraphy poster made by hand on Gmund Paper by Laura Doro to celebrate Mr. Takeo and his career.

During the Gmund Award Ceremony we had the opportunity to talk with Mr. Shigeru Takeo, has been for us such a deep emotion to can share our feelings around paper and design. “Please call me Sugar” he says… what an amazing man, founder of probably the best paper mill in the Asian market.

Thank You Gmund Paper, Mr. Florian Kohler & Mr. Takeo for this fantastic festival!!!

THE GMUND AWARD CEREMONY (part 1):
That day was a tripudium of emotions.
We had to run the exhibition, the lecture and I have been the designer of the trophy of the Gmund Award 2023.

We arrived at the Ceremony only a couple of minutes before the intro starts.
Hundreds of people was already sit. (Fuuuuuu # # #! I have thought) Was late… a lot of chairs was already taken, and only a few was free.

Anxious moments… really panic!!! Then I finally found three places for me and my colleagues, all close to each other. I found a place for me, and other two. Then we get the headphones for the translation, back to the chairs and the event starts like the last post.

From panic to relax. Beautiful Ancients emotions during that song… relax and peace embrace me, the introduction starts with lights and beautiful effects, bla bla bla, and then… Then the moment to show the trophy by Gmund Paper arrived!!!
I was so thrilling… … and suddenly something to me so brilliant happens: And the Winner is…. The first winner, of all the competition, in a room with hundreds of people, was sit immediately at my right.

I was so happy when I understood that, that probably he still remember my hit on his back!!!

Congratulations to all of you!!

Casualties?
What an amazing story the Universe!!!

Learning: Sometimes we don’t really know where to go… but just follow the heart, he knows already where to go. Sit, and enjoy the journey. I will!
