On the occasion of Architect at Work, the prestigious annual trade fair held in Warsaw, we had the privilege of organizing a dinner in celebration of PolyPiù, in collaboration with Architectural Digest Poland.

The evening provided an opportunity to exchange views with industry peers and to present the global novelties from PolyPiù to the guests, all set in a renowned restaurant in the heart of the historic Łazienki Park.

Last week, following the presentation of Alessandra Pacilli’s release of “Racconti del Meriggio”, we attended the Turin International Book Fair, an important event that gathers writers, publishers, and readers from all over the world.

The day was intense and full of interesting insights, marked by the love for literature and printed paper. Pacilli, amongst many of her peer writers, was invited to a panel discussion which included specs of her vision, her journey as an author, and her active dedication to the cultural development of Villa Meriggio.

DDM embarked on a thrilling two-week journey spanning Milan and Paris.

In Milan, the company participated in notable events where our CEO Danilo Di Michele was invited as a keynote speaker at Isola Design Events Talks and at Bontempi Talks, culminating in a successful party held at the Bontempi store. Subsequently, the team moved to Paris for the Samoter Verona 2026 dinner, for the first ever presentation held outside of Verona - also orchestrated by DDM.

For the first time, SaMoTer , the International Exhibition of Construction Machinery, made a stop in Paris to unveil previews of the 2026 edition at VeronaFiere, during the Gala Dinner held at the prestigious Galerie Jérôme Poggi.

But this wasn’t just a social event: it was a pivotal moment to celebrate innovation and the future of the construction industry. With pride, Raul Barbieri - Sales Director - and Federica Gorfer - Event Manager - presented the latest previews for SaMoTer 2026! VeronaFiere is ready to develop an Academy for young talents and the future of the sector, driven by the spirit of innovation and progress.
In this captivating setting, industry leaders in construction machinery and building welcomed sector updates with enthusiasm.

With passion and dedication, they shared their support for what’s to come, inspiring us all to look ahead with confidence and determination. We look forward to the 2025 edition of SaMoTer to see the innovations that the Academy has in store for the public.

DDM is happy to relive some moments shared with Bontempi Casa during the party on Friday, April 19, during Milan Design Week, a unique experience thanks to Bontempi’s hospitality, the excellent food by Chef Goga , and the superb wine from Monteci Wines winery. An incredible party that kicked off with the cry of “Let’s party in black!” The atmosphere was electrifying, with soft lights caressing the sinuous lines of the exhibited furniture, while music throbbed in the air, creating a perfect background in a special place, with people who love design and conviviality.

The DDM team, once again, graced the esteemed Salone del Mobile 2024 in Milan this April 16th. Year after year, DDM has explored the corridors of this leading design fair, discovering groundbreaking innovations that redefine living spaces.

This year’s spotlight was on sustainable solutions dedicated to home projects. The DDM team thoroughly explored innovations and sustainable trends in interior design, focusing particularly on solutions for kitchens and living rooms. This year’s edition promoted encounters with avant-garde designs that incorporate recycled materials, low-impact energy technologies, and sustainable production processes.

What were your thoughts on the fair this year?

During the Milan Design Week 2024, the Bontempi Casa flagship store in Via Turati, Milan held a panel discussion titled “BONTEMPI / ON - TALKS ABOUT DESIGN”. The session focused on the evolving world of design and furniture, discussing how these elements interrelate to shape modern living spaces.

Danilo Di Michele, DDM’s CEO served as a mediator at this talk, hosting Michele Bontempi, CEO of Bontempi Casa, Patrick Abbatista, Founder and CEO of DesignWanted, Juan Torres, Designer, Matteo Silverio from Rehub and Clara Accebbi, Designer. The discussions delved into current trends and future directions in design, emphasizing the integration of aesthetics and functionality in furniture design.

During the Milan Design Week 2024, DDM made a notable appearance at the Isola Design Week on April 17. The event, celebrated for its commitment to sustainability and innovation, took place at Lampo.

This location, now a hub for coworking and cultural events, hosted a range of exhibitions focusing on themes like circular design and material innovation.

DDM’s presence was highlighted by the participation of CEO Danilo Di Michele, who joined a talk with mediator Samta Nadeem, discussing topics pertinent to contemporary design challenges and the future of the industry. The discussions and installations at the event encapsulated the spirit of forward-thinking design and collaboration that defines Milan Design Week.

During the Milan Design Week, DDM attended the Archiproducts event with the launch of “Aqua”.

A tribute to the vitality of water, where light and shadow create a captivating atmosphere. Merging innovation with aesthetics, Archiproducts and Studiopepe transformed the heart of the Tortona Design District into a realm where design meets nature.

From April 14th to 17th, Verona became the host of the 56th edition of Vinitaly, welcoming over 4,000 exhibitors from around the world. The event featured technical tastings, industry novelties, and the beloved “Vinitaly and the City,” enhancing the evenings in Verona. With overwhelmingly positive feedback, the 2024 edition reinforced Vinitaly’s role as a key event for wine professionals and enthusiasts, with next year’s dates already confirmed. A meeting of culture, commerce, and innovation that continues to grow.
