Check "Jimoty" before throwing away the luggage!

I think many people will moving out in this season.
As anyone who has moved to Japan knows, it costs a lot of money to throw something away in Japan.
For example, slightly larger furniture and appliances are costly to throw away.

Are you throwing away things you no longer need after moving?
Check out "Jimoty" before throwing it away!

"Jimoty" is an app that anyone can exchange and sell!
The difference from "Mercari" is that there is no "fee"! !!
In addition, delivery of products is not shipping, but it is very simple, such as actually meeting and receiving.
(It's hard for big appliances ...)

The price setting is also relatively cheap compared to other apps, and it is very convenient when moving!
Of course, there are quite a few things that are convenient not only for sale but also for buying, and sometime you can get item for free!
Occasionally, you can get a sofa or TV for free, so you can make a good deal.

If you are in trouble about something that you do not need when you moving out, please use it!

When looking for a room, We often see words such as "1R" and "1LDK" .
Do you know the meaning of these word?
It is a word that often appears in communication with an intermediary company when looking for a room.

The four words that often appear are "R, L, D, K".

"R" → Room
It is a word for a private room. In cases other than 1R rooms, "R" is often omitted.
Therefore, it is often represented only by numbers such as "1DK" and "1K".
In the case of two or more rooms, it will be written as "2K" and "2DK" .

"L" → Living room
It is supposed to be a relaxing space with a sofa, low table, TV, etc.

"D" → Dining
As a dining room, we assume a space for tables and chairs.

"K" → Kitchen
Refers to the cooking space / kitchen.

So, for example, in the case of "1R", the entrance and the living room are not separated by a door, and it means a room where a kitchenette, a toilet, and a bath are integrated in one room.
In the case of "1K", it consists of one room and one kitchen, each separated by a door.

In the case of "1DK", the floor plan consists of one room and a dining kitchen.
Unlike ordinary kitchens, the dining kitchen has more space for dining.

Do you get an idea of what it meant? ??
This may be more fun when looking for a room!

How to find a property with low rent! !!

Rent is a big part of everyday life.
And the rent in Japan is always very expensive.
Here's how to find a house with a low rent.

① Choose an old one.

To keep your rent down, you have to choose something and throw something away.
As the building ages, the rent of the property goes down.
However, there are many beautiful properties that have been renovated even if they are a little old.
If you don't feel the need for a new construction or a very clean house, this is your aim.

② Try to find a property far from the station

The distance between the station and the house has a lot to do with the rent.
The closer you are to the station, the higher the price.
Perhaps it's cheaper to live near your workplace than to live near a train station.
In addition, you may be able to reduce your rent by using a bicycle.

③ Live with friends (share house)

The rent is simply reduced to less than half.
I actually have a share house, but in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, the rent is limited to 30,000 yen.
If you can find a house that you can share, this is the recommended method.

Properties that meet all of these three points should be very cheap.
Please look for it!

It is so different depends on the area! !! Rent market price by prefecture!

Do you know the average rent in the prefecture you live in? ??
For example, in Tokyo, the average rent is 68,323 yen per room.
Chiba is 52,625 yen. Kanagawa prefecture is 57,834 yen.

Of course, there are differences depending on the nearest station and area,
Rents are so different even in neighboring prefectures.
If you live in Chiba, Tokyo, you can save more than 10,000 yen by living in Chiba.

In the case of Kansai, the average rent in Osaka is 55,025 yen, Kyoto is 50,721 yen, and Hyogo is 51,879 yen, which is about 5,000 yen different.
Please check the average rent of the area you live in and the place you work!

By knowing the average rent that varies depending on the area, let's not lose in the future room search!

5 words to remember when you looking for a room in Japan

If you are looking for a room in Japan, please remember these 5 words.
Especially when comparing rooms, it is a point to see which house is cheaper or more expensive.

1. "初期費用 shokihiyou" Initial cost
The initial cost is the cost of contracting a house.
The initial cost is mainly a combination of various items such as "security deposit, key money, brokerage fee, deposit".
In Japan, the average is 5 to 6 times the rent.
Insanely expensive! I'm sure this is only in Japan.Isn't it?

2. "敷金 shikikin" Security deposit
The security deposit is the money you deposit with the owner when you rent a room.
It cost about 1 to 2 month's rent.
This money is used for cleaning when the room is soiled or destroyed and when you move out.
It may come back when you move out. But don't expect it.

3. "礼金 reikin" Key money
This is the money to pay to the owner.
It will not come back. It's just an initial cost.
It cost about 1 to 2 month's rent.
The owner makes profit with this money.

4. "仲介料 chukairyou" Brokerage fee
This is the cost of finding a room using an intermediary company.
This money will be paid to the intermediary company.
It cost about 1 month's rent.
In most cases, you will be contracting the room through an intermediary company, so it is basically the money you incur.
Occasionally, this brokerage fee may be halved or even zero. It is the Chance.

5. "保証金 hosyokin" Deposit
When renting a room, a "guarantor" is needed in Japan.
This "guarantor" must be Japanese.
However, there are many cases where we foreigners do not have a "guarantor".
So, we need to ask the "guarantee company".
The money to pay to the guarantee company.

When looking for a house, it is important to check some of these 5 parts.
If you dont know about Initial cost, Even the best room for you may have a high upfront cost and you may have to give up.

Let's remember these word when looking for a room!

★Would you like to live in Yokohama with your friends? New property introduction in Yokohama ★

There are few properties in Japan where you can share a room with your friend. Also Japan is particularly difficult for foreigners to move in. However, it is really important to reduce the rent by sharing a room.

This house is for you and your friend.

Foreigners are OK and share is also OK.
Moreover, this is not a room, This is a house!
You don't need to care about your Neighborhood!

How to reduce mobile charges in Japan

"I want to change the SIM because the mobile phone charge is high!
But changing the SIM is annoying."
We know how complicated and tedious it is to change a SIM plan.

For those of you, I will teach you how to reduce your mobile phone charges without changing your plan!
Especially for people who use docomo, Softbank, or au, monthly payments may be reduced by about 1,000 yen.

① Log in to My Page of the SIM company you are using.
② Check the "contract details" page
③ Check various "options" in the contract details
④ Delete options that are not used at all and options that are included in the initial settings
⑤ Depending on the option to delete, it will be cheaper by about 500 yen to 1,000 yen! !!

Larger companies have many options that we don't know.
There are various types of unused options, such as notification function options and news article options.
Check your contract status and remove any options you aren't using!

Are you overpaying your mobile phone charges? ??

If you want to save money in Japan life, you have to keep your monthly costs down.
Electricity, gas, water, internet, etc.
Living in Japan has a always high monthly cost.

What We have overlooked is the mobile phone charge.
How much are you paying now? ??

According to a survey, the average monthly mobile phone charge for Japanese people is ¥ 8,312. (Major carrier)
For some people, it's more expensive than electricity and gas!

If you are spending more than 5,000 yen on your mobile phone, you need to review it.
Cheap companies can use mobile phones for 3,000 to 980 yen. (ENPORT is 980 yen!)

Everyone who says, "I need a lot of communication capacity, so it can't be helped!"
Do you really need that communication capacity? ??
Is your home wi-fi enough? ??

Please try to calculate your mobile phone charges!
By the way, I'm enough with 3GB SIM and wi-fi at home in every month!!

It is cheaper than a supermarket.
What is a "商店街 Sho-tengai"?

Is there a "商店街 (shopping street)" near your house?
If you are interested in save money, this is a must-visit place.

Why you should go to the shopping district.

① Cheaper than supermarket
② The food is fresh
③ It has the "connections with people".

Unlike major supermarkets, you can get cheap and fresh food in the "商店街" because it is run by an individual.

In addition, there are "neighborhood relationships" that are rarely found in Japan.
There may be an opportunity to get closer with your neighbors.
Maybe it will be cheaper and cheaper ...

Questions that are always asked in job hunting②

Hello everyone, This is ENPORT.
Today's Question of Job hunting is...

・ あなたが最も打ち込んだことは何ですか? What did you do the most?
・ 自己PRをしてください。 Please do self-promotion.

"最も" "Mottomo" means the best ever.
"打ち込んだ" means that you have made an effort and worked hard.
"自己 PR" "Ziko PR" is a question that explains your strengths.

These two will definitely be asked at the interview.
It's a different question, but the points are the same.
Both questions are about "your good points".

Prepare yourself for the story of what you have tried and what and how you have achieved.
Try to be as specific as possible about your experience.

For example, what you were focusing on when You were a student,
While studying Japanese in Japan, working part-time and sending money to your family, etc.
I think the story is different for each person, but it is important to remember that time in detail.

Your "good points" are always hidden in that experience.
You can sacrifice yourself for your family, you're crazy about what you like, etc.
Find your "good points" hidden in your experience!

You will surely find your good points!
Let's search it without rushing.

Questions that are always asked in job hunting①

Hello, This is ENPORT.
Among many job hunters, the biggest anxiety is "interview".
Interviews in Japanese are especially anxious and tense.

All we can do is be the best prepared.
If you understand what the interviewer will ask you,it will be a little easier.

So, this time, I will introduce the questions that are always asked in the interview.
I will introduce it in series, so let's imagine how to answer when you are actually asked!

The first question is ...

・ 志望動機を教えてください。"Please tell us your motive."

You will definitely be asked this ...

志望 "shibo" represents what you want.
動機 "doki" expresses the reason for one's actions.

So this question is a question asking "Why did you want to get this company?"
As a company, they want to know why you chose this company!

You must have a reason to choose that company.
What part of the company you were interested in, why you have to be that company, what you can do for that company
It would be great if I could think about that.

Please think about it!

Job hunting in Japan
Senpai experience interview

Hello everyone!
This is ENPORT.

Today, I would like to tell you the story of a Senpai who actually did job hunting in Japan!
If you are looking for a job, please refer to it!
The real experience of Senpai should definitely be useful!

Senpai who cooperated with this interview is...

Name: Thom
Nationality: Vietnam
Age: 31
Residence: Tokyo
When she was job hunting: vocational school students
Current job: Human resources industry

Q1. What are the 3 most difficult job hunting activities? ??

The third place is an interview.
I've been wondering what kind of questions will come.
The interview in Japanese was nervous and anxious.

Second place is SPI.
Do you know "SPI"?
This is an academic ability test conducted by the company in job hunting.
We take test about math and Japanese and personality diagnosis.
The tests were all in Japanese, so it was really difficult.

The first place is the problem of money.
I couldn't work part-time during job hunting, and it cost me a lot of money to get a job, so it was difficult.
We recommend saving money!

Q2. How many companies did you interview?

I interviewed 2 companies in total.
Basically, I was interviewed at a job fair for foreigners where I was interested.
I think there are few two companies.
Other friends had about 10 companies.
* It is normal for Japanese people to receive 30 to 60 companies!

Q3. When did you start job hunting?

I started job hunting around July in my second year.
Preparations started around January, the end of the first grade.
I started by preparing my resume and studying etiquette.

Q4. Please give some advice to everyone who is going to get a job!

At the interview, you must communicate your motives.
When you appeal yourself to company, make sure that you are the right person for that company!

How was your Senpai interview?
ENPORT supports job hunting in Japan!
I think it's difficult due to the influence of corona, but if you have any questions, please ask!
