Should we call it, or we wait for IEBC?

Ruto yesterday said that the evil hustler narrative is not about class war. However to the contrary what they say and what they do indicates that it is meant to start a class conflict in our country!

1. They exclusively talk about how they will assist the so-called hustlers. They do not talk about other sectors of the economy, like corporates, industries, big businesses and farmers. Instead they talk in a way to suggest that the plight of the so-called hustlers emanates from them!

2. The so-called hustlers have been arrogantly defying law and order, especially in towns and outskirts! It is total chaos in down town Nairobi. The so-called hustlers have taken all the pedestrian walks and roads! It is a nightmare for drivers who try to drive through such areas. There are increased trespass of private and public lands by people claiming to be the so-called hustlers. There are unscrupulous business people who import counterfeits and evade taxes, and who complain loudly when they are caught or told to abide by the law.. There are also professional encroachers who invade public lands and resist eviction, when the government wants to develop them for the intended purposes. It is scaring to imagine what would happen if Ruto got power!

3. There has been several incidents where properties worth millions have been destroyed by some goons claiming to be the so-called hustlers after unfortunate accidents!

4. His sycophants especially Rigathi Gachagwa, Ndindi Nyoro and Gathoni Mucoomba have made inciting remarks about big land owners in Nairobi, Kiambu and Nakuru, claiming that they were "mau mau" lands! Such talks are likely to encourage invasion of private lands and destruction of properties by the so-called hustlers. This would be the zimbambwe model of land grabbing which would impact negatively on our economy and image!

5. The have attacked and unfairly blamed big corporates in banking, milk production, farming and construction. This amounts to targeted " criminalizati

President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence to Mama Mukami Kimathi and the entire family of Kenya's freedom hero Dedan Kimathi following the death of their daughter Peris Muthoni Kimathi.

The late Muthoni Kimathi passed away over the weekend after a long illness.

In his message of comfort, the President described the late Muthoni as a cheerful person and a strong pillar of the late freedom fighter's family who took close care of Mama Mukami Kimathi.
