Today we had such an informative learning session in the stakeholder Sensitisation forum on data, data privacy and protection, and data governance. The forum was organized by Provident Community Initiative in partnership with the Open Institute.

We are proud to have joined our stakeholders in the marking of the Mombasa Mangrove Mud Bath Marathon kicked off at Makupa Round about and endend up at Ganahola, Mikindani. This was a preactivity for the commemoration of the International day of the Conservation of the Magrove set to take place on 26th July.

The main aim of the Marathon was to create awareness on the importance of our mangrove forest and urge everyone to take part in the conservation of the mangrove forests. It was also meant to mobilize resources meant to put up beacons for the protection of the mangrove forests.

The event ended with participant planting mangroves at the site and some awareness creation from key speakers. Mangrove forest contribute largely to the reduction of the and also as an ecosystem that supports the life of different faunas.

Lets all commit to conserve and protect our mangroves. Its starts with the small individual practices❤️
