When he ran for his debut Marathon in December 2022 at the Maraton Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP, Kevin KIPTUM set a time of 2:01:53 becoming the fasted debut Marathoner. In his secod Marathon in the Aprilโs 2023 TCS London Marathon, the 23-year-old became the second fastest man in marathon history by beating Kipchogeโs 2019 course record of 2:02:37, and missing the world record by just 18 seconds with his 2:01:25 finish.
It is against this background that Eliud KIPCHOGE recently said that the record may soon drop under two hours, and KIPTUM is likely to be the one to rewrite the history books. ๐พ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ณ ๐ฏ๐ฌ?

Norwegian Jakob Ingebrigtsen has been in his best form this year. He remains the man to beat in the 1500m some few weeks to the World Championships in Budapest. During the Silesia Diamond League in Poland on Sunday he broke his European record to 3:27.14, putting him at number 4 on the world all-time rankings and leaving Hicham El Guerroujโs world record of 3:26.00, which was set almost exactly 25 years ago, looking like it is on borrowed time.

SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS AGAINST KORARA TEA FACTORY
1. Allegations of fraudelent tea acquisition and engaging in unethical practices whereby they buy tea from unsuspeting farmers without following due process of registration and after getting tea for upto four months, fail to pay and discontinue their leave collections abruptly. At the moment tea worth millions of shillings have not be paid to farmers for period of up to four months.
2. Failure to pay employees of the factory for the last four months
3. In the last week Mombasa tea auction, there tea was withdrawn because they didn't transport their tea to mombasa because of missing logistics.
4. The factory is reportedly to even lack firewood fuel
5. Due to it being located on a hill, many of its workers are reported to have suffered severe injuries at the place of work.
I call upon the Tea Board of Kenya to immediately swing into action, investigate the factory and come to the aid of tea farmers
and other suppliers.
To tea farmers who supply their tea to Korara Highlands Tea factory, do you have any challenge with payments?
