Interesting how the truth is coming out from the leaders who we see and treat them as gods in our generation.
I have been asking myself if really the PUBLIC PARTICIPATION has weight when it comes to serious matters like the budget that is to be read today.
Our very own Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has let another important cat out of the bag. It is very shameful and undemocratic. This means all that is done and said is only meant for a few individual. Why ask for public participation when you are aware that their view is not important as far as your interest is concerned?
It is waste of time and resources to call for the public participation when the interest and grievances shared by the common mama mboga, common bodaboda, common mtu wa kibarua are not respected and put into consideration. Now tell me who is the enemy of the people?

Taxation.
The budget of Kenya will be read today.
What has caught my attention is the tax imposed to various commodities including the basic ones. Yes we should pay taxes as a nation, but what is there to show in return?
Where are the measures to curb corruption? Or the high taxation will leverage on the scandals like the recent about the fertilizer?
Mwananchi wants the ones involved in this scandals punished by law, but by the end of the day "There was no evidence." "Mr speaker there was no evidence and the loot is also not there!!!"🤣🤣🤣
Is there a repucation for high taxation? That is rethorical of course. How many companies have pulled out of the country since the new regime took over? How many investors had the thirst to set up here and opted for a better option? Our business environment is not welcoming Mr Speaker.
I have the feeling that this government focuses more on taxation than production.
If we want to tax, then let's produce what is to be taxed.
Let's begin by reviving our backbone avenue of agriculture. Create efficient measures that will increase production. It all starts there. That is the bottom up Mr Speaker.
We said we are not going to borrow but I also see the government encourages it's people to borrow. Hustler Fund. Borrowing the borrowed 🤣🤣🤣. Is that how a country is grown? That is to tell you that something is wrong somewhere.
With this taxation you will still see our teachers on the road, our doctors just to mention but a few.
We lost a mark and now its drifting us. Drifting us to a point that one day we will wake up and find us working for one man, "The Lender". It will be tough than the escape from Sobibo!!!

Time for division politics and sympathy from sleeping members of public.
Kenyan politics has not grown to ideological politics, critical thinking and respect to ones opinion no matter the social class.
When a politician wants to attract masses, he/she thinks of how to divide you. Make you feel as a lesser person or a higher being than your neighbor, huyu mwenye unaomba chumvi.
I am speaking to the youths here because I know they are the majority voters. They are the most energetic in our society, let us show a difference in thinking, criticizing and create an environment that will bring us to a round table of discussion. Yes I may differ with your opinion but by the end of the day I have learnt something tangible that will help our nation at greater heights.
