Attention: Kenyans in Lebanon

The Embassies of the Republic of Kenya & the United Republic of Tanzania in collaboration with the Talk Cultural Hub held an event to commemorate the Swahili Language Day. The event showcased the Swahili language, culture, dance, and cuisine. It was widely attended by cultural enthusiasts, members of the Diaspora, business personalities, and members of the press.

On the occasion of International Day of Women in Diplomacy, we celebrate the achievements of women around the world, the trailblazers, the women who break the glass ceiling, and strive for excellence, and set the pace for others for the betterment of society.

The Mission concluded a four day working Visit to the Republic of Lebanon. Embassy officials held meetings with a wide array of stakeholders that include: the Honorary Consul, Kenyan Community leaders, General Security, Tabitha/Dorcas Shelter, Caracas International, and IOM. The officials also carried out Consular Services to Kenyans in Lebanon.

H.E. the Ambassador hosted a dinner for the Kenyan Community in Kuwait on the occasion of Eid-al-adha.

The Kenya Embassy joined other African Missions in commemorating "Africa Day." The event was attended by: Kuwait Government officials, Members of the Diplomatic Corp, Private Sector representatives and the Kenyan/African diaspora in the State of Kuwait. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, H.E. Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, visited the Kenyan stand.

The Embassy successfully conducted a consular service outreach program for Kenyans in Bahrain.

The Embassy participated in the Youth Speak Forum that was organised by AIESEC Kuwait at the American University of Kuwait. The event provided a platform for the youth to share their thoughts with other like minded individuals regarding the Sustainable Development Goals. The event was a huge success as many students signed up to undertake volunteering projects in Kenya.

Attention: Please take note of the upcoming Consular Visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain that is due to take place between 4th-6th May, 2024.

The news of the passing on of the Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, Gen. Francis Ogola and the other gallant soldiers is tragic. We are all pained that these brave sons and daughters of Kenya died in the service of our great country.
The Embassy was honoured to host the late General in various official duties in our countries of accreditation. He engaged the Kenyan Diaspora in Bahrain and urged them to continue contributing to the development of our great nation whilst they work abroad.
May the Almighty Allah grant comfort to their loved ones, the KDF fraternity, and the people of our great country. May He grant a quick recovery to the injured.

H.E. Halima Mohamud paid a courtesy call on Youssef A.El-Bayden, Director General of the Central Authority of Sports of the State of Kuwait. The purpose of the meeting was to explore collaboration between Kenya and Kuwait in the field of sports.

The Embassy joined the Kenyan community in Kuwait in participating in the Gulf Bank 642 Marathon. The Kenyans represented their respective companies and made a positive contribution to the race. We salute our Shujaa 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪

H.E. Amb. Halima Mohamud paid a courtesy call on H.E. Amb. Ebrahim Mohammed Al Meselmani, Chief of Consular Services, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the welfare of the Kenyan Diaspora in Bahrain

H.E. Amb. Halima Mohamud paid a courtesy call on H.E. Amb. Ahmed Mohammed Al Tariifi, Chief of Arab and African affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss areas of mutual bilateral interest.

The Embassy concluded a three day mobile consular service for the Kenyan diaspora in Bahrain. The services offered included e-passport application, certificate of good conduct application, authentication of documents, among many other services offered.
