Discover the impressive rich history and famous landmarks of Byblos and wander through its gorgeous old streets, during an enriching 2 hour walking tour !! While walking through Byblos beautifully renovated old center, your guide will take you on a journey through Byblos rich history, and lead you passed its well-preserved archaeological sites*, religious buildings, medieval harbor and cozy old souqs.

Thank you for your interest in the Free Walking Tours Beirut,

We are trying our best to reactivate the Free Tours in our beloved city, unfortunately we are short on guides since we only work with licensed tour guides and we have very few requests that most of them are not synchronized together for the same day and time.
For the moment we are leading a lot of private tours where a group of friends or acquaintances meet up by chance and decide on a date and time for the tour and devide the tour's fees on themselves.

We will try to develope a requests system that would help us join people together and create a tour nothing makes us more happy than to do the free tours once again.

Our Story

Free Walking Tours Beirut & Beyond

It all started during a visit to Amsterdam, when we were drawn to a white umbrella held by a young man standing on Dam square, and leading us to join what turned out to be a free walking tour (If you are visiting Amsterdam soon, check out their website here). Excited about the concept, bonding with our crazy guide Sem, and looking for an alternative for our 6-hour' Sunday Beirut walking tour, we decided to contact the guys in Amsterdam, created a kind partnership and voila!.. off we went.

The idea behind the Free Walking Tours Beirut & Beyond is to give all people the chance to discover Lebanon in its full, yet also to provide a platform for local guides to share their own passion and stories.

Our current destinations are Beirut and Byblos, yet we hope to add more destinations soon!!
