Hayleys Leisure Training Academy recently held its second graduation ceremony at Amaya Lake, Dambulla, celebrating 35 exceptional graduates. These students were chosen from a pool of 470 applicants, with 60 initially selected and 43 completing the course.



With a focus on empowering disadvantaged youth in Sri Lanka, the academy provides comprehensive hospitality training, fully funded by Hayleys Leisure. Graduates have the opportunity for employment within Hayleys' extensive network of hotels and resorts, contributing to the growth of Sri Lanka's tourism industry.



The ceremony, attended by key figures including Managing Director of Hayleys Leisure, Mr. Rohan Karr and Chief Operating Officer of Amaya Resorts and Spas, Mr. Chris Quyn, highlighted outstanding achievements in subjects like Front Office, Housekeeping, Kitchen and Food & Beverage. Thishan Wijayakumara was honoured with the esteemed title of Batch Top and Most Outstanding Student at the ceremony.



With the presence of proud parents, distinguished guests, and dedicated staff members, the event symbolised a collective effort towards driving positive change in the community.
