Always a joyous occasion when you take on a project that has a good cause backing the drive.
Helping over 5,000 students in Homagama to attend school safely. Developing infrastructure such as parking, pathways, signage, gates and implementing road safety systems with the help of the local traffic police.

Aim is to build safer pathways for a minimum of 10 Schools within this year (before the end of 2024).

Last year was one of the most successful year’s that the Automobile Association of Ceylon had - over its illustrious 119 years of existence.

To end the year 2023, AA Ceylon invited all the staff members (all meaning, literally everyone from the security personnel, yea lady to the executive board members) to a party at Galadari. This was truly amazing to see, for some of the staff it was their best moment of their long careers at the establishment. Just when everyone thought the party was done, it was announced that every staff member of the organization would attain a 4 month salary bonus going into the new year! The joy and jubilation was unlike anything I’ve seen at any event, this was also the highest bonus ever given in the history of the Association.

I was not only privileged to be a part of that success, but honored and I look forward to achieving more of the same this year with the organization.

Association of Professional Bankers - Sri Lanka, held it's 33rd Anniversary Convention 0n 20 February, at the Cinnamon Grand Ballroom. The theme for this year's Convention was "Resilient and Adaptable--Way Forward for Banking ".The Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe was the Chief Guest.
Mr.Ravi Molligoda, was feted by the Association, for his "Outstanding Contribution to the Banking Industry. The picture shows, the Governor of the Central Bank, presenting the award to Mr Molligoda. The President, of the Association of Professional Bankers, Mr Jeremy De Silva,the Senior V.President. Mr B.H.Preena,the V.President,Mr Halin Hettigoda and the General Secretary Mr Dilshan Perera are also in the picture.
