The Faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies of KDU successfully completed the guest lecture on " The US's Indo-Pacific Strategy, implications for small island states, which was conducted by the Rear Admiral (Ret.) U.S. Navy Director of DKI-APCSS Peter Gumataotao on the February 27th at the FGS auditorium KDU.

Therefore, FDSS undergraduates conducted a special interview with Dr Bhagya Senaratne, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Strategic Studies, focusing on areas like the history of bilateral relations, the Rubber-Rice Pact, the nature of contemporary relations, the contribution of various leaders towards the stability of the relationship and most importantly, what the future holds for the continuation of bilateral relations. The bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and China is undoubtedly a contemporary hot topic.
