Our Salted Dulce De Leche is insanely rich and delicious at any time of day.

We attended a cooking master class by the lovely Mandy Yin of London’s Sambal Shiok, hosted by as part of . So good we went straight into the kitchen to recreate it.

The dish was Nasi Lemak, the national dish of Malaysia and an all-time favourite - and all ingredients readily available here in Sri Lanka.

Coconut rice infused w/ pandan and lemongrass; spicy, rich, intense sambal tumis; crispy anchovies & peanuts, an egg and cucumber garnish.

Heaven on earth for lovers of spicy comfort food.

This week’s event: a trip to the hill country to prepare a birthday feast of outrageous opulence.

The cooler climate and spectacular setting lent itself to a traditional banquet of roast meats with all the trimmings.

A wonderful wedding weekend at Stella Beach, Madiha for the most adorable couple. We love your love! ❤️ ❤️

Foraged food 🥘: fond memories of last summer in the UK - mussels, lobster and samphire found on the Cornish coast, a rewarding way to spend an afternoon.

Canapés are our favourite food: beautiful and bite-sized; bursting with flavours; perfect with an aperitif.

Total indulgence: pistachio basque burnt cheesecake w/ salted caramel and strawberries 🍓

Small is beautiful: canapés, R&C, and everyone’s favourite dark ganache tarte for an intimate surprise wedding on Habaraduwa beach. Bride and groom only informed their guests at breakfast!

An Italian feast for a proposal dinner arranged by Galle Events in the romantic Hera’s garden at Kalukanda House.

Of course she said yes! ❤️

Our eating odyssey continues! A wonderful week in Cornwall with expert forager Pike Truelove.

Hours of fun; delicious fresh seafood; feasting with friends; ridiculously cold water.

Even though we are closed until the season the cooking continues and the inspiration never ends, with fabulous foraging in the Stiffkey gardens. Such a joy to work with amazing fresh produce!
