“I started out as a technical support engineer and after several months, my managers noticed my potential in administration tasks where technical knowledge of products is necessary. Soon I had a new role as a dispatcher of tasks. I jumped at the chance and found myself directing traffic – making sure all the work is getting done. Later on, I started working with product documentation and, eventually, I was promoted to my current role.”

As Mantas points out: "Every day feels like an episode of a never-ending sitcom, with something new and entertaining happening all the time. I work in an awesome team and the vibe here is just fantastic. I want to give a special shout-out to my colleagues for bringing such great energy to the workplace!"

“Coding is like solving a puzzle with infinite possibilities!“ – this is how Mantas Šlipaitis, a skilled web programmer at , describes his passion for crafting digital solutions that make a difference in people’s lives. Let’s take a closer look at Mantas position.

👉 Can you tell us what a day at work in your role looks like?

“I have always been fascinated by the power of technology to solve real-world problems, and my work at Teltonika is a perfect example of that. I am currently working on a project that involves automated testing and firmware validation for our GPS trackers. As part of it, I collaborate closely with colleagues to develop solutions that make their work easier and more efficient.

In my day-to-day work, I wear many hats. I not only write and review code, but also communicate with other teams to ensure that we are meeting their needs. Additionally, I take on the role of merge request reviewer to ensure that all code changes are thoroughly evaluated before they are integrated into our products. It is a challenging and rewarding job that keeps me engaged and learning every day.”

👉 What is the most important thing you learned in your career?

“I used to have the attitude "if you want something done right, do it yourself," but at Teltonika plenty of competent people do their job and do it well. So, I learned to trust my colleagues. Why is it important? Because one person cannot do everything.”

👉 Can you share a memorable story related to your work?

“One day, an older man approached me and asked if he could interrupt me for a moment. At first, I was a bit wary. But then he noticed my Teltonika t-shirt and said, "I am from Molėtai!" and lifted his thumb in a gesture of approval. It was a small but heart-warming moment that reminded me of the strong community and pride that exists among people from Molėtai. It also made me feel proud to be part of this company, which has strong ties to the city."
