Sometimes you get to work with not one great brand, but two. We proudly present our last work for LEGO Jaws campaign! As always we did all things CGI and even collaborated closely with creative agency Advance A/S, director Kim Flügel and producer Jon Thomsen to make this short story epic. And as one LEGO fan wrote in his comment, now we need not only a bigger boat, but a bigger shelf for our LEGO toys as well 🤓

Last winter we were asked to deliver over 60 VFX shots for Kongsberg Protechting People and Planet campaign in 8 weeks period. However the bigger challenge was that we did not even know what exactly we will have to do. And oh boy what an adventure that was - shooting in Buenos Aires and far north in Norway, creating fully computer generated space and underwater environments, developing unique motion graphic asset called The Force and many many more no less interesting tasks. Big thanks to Fantefilm and director Gaute Hesthagen for this amazing journey! Animatrix would be just a title without its amazing team, so thank you guys for making this happen!

For almost 10 years current Animatrix logo represented our studio in a dozen industry festivals, events, conferences, was our face online, on business cards and in magazines. And as company is moving to the next stage of its maturity, we felt the need to refresh our look as well. We have grown, got more experienced and we wanted this to be reflected in our new look as well. We are very proud to present a new Animatrix logo, created by designer and good friend Marius Žalneravičius. We hope you like it as much as we do!

Now a managing producer at Animatrix, Dovydas Vilkelis, primarily concentrated on managing the studio & delivering creative topnotch projects globally. To Dovydas the true magic of work hides in the “first little bit of animation”, & the most challenging part is, when it comes to commercial projects, taking the client on a journey into this “very specialized VFX & animation field”, he says. "Sometimes our clients are absolute freshmen in this field. But we are always ready to take care of them,” he says.

Hi guys, how are you doing these days? We are fine at Animatrix, though tired but happy at the end of this restless weekend. A lot of cool stuff was happening at https://www.facebook.com/CCBaltics Comic Con Baltics 2022 and we also had fun presenting our case-study – 3D animation for the "Back to the Future LEGO" commercial for guests and visitors of the conference.

At 2 pm we were happy to share a panel discussion on Lithuanian Film industry trends and insights together with Art Shot, Akis Bado, Kadrų skyrius. Hopefully we will share more insight from this one later on here.

Wow, it has been a hectic day at the conference Comic Con Baltics. Children and their parents were everywhere, loud music, performances, branded souvenirs, superheroes, boys and girls in costumes, food courts, cool booths of creative studios and large media companies. Have you been here today? - If yes - you know what we are talking about. If not - expo will still be open tomorrow.

animation & studio booth wasn't left unnoticed too. Yes, it is not a problem when you have so many creative projects under the belt. We were able to share more information on our previous and ongoing works, so no one left uninformed.

Tomorrow promises to be even more interesting. Panel discussions will provide an opportunity to meet new people, creative producers and managers, and talk more about our portfolio and cooperation opportunities.
