Many people know we love to break barriers and see people with disabilities start work in fields they don't typically go into. For many years, we have been hearing from employers the concerns about deaf working directly with customers. Please, DON'T accept my opinion that deaf can make great workers in retail. But please DO accept the opinion of WOOLWORTHS, who have been working with Rithik (deaf) for the last two years.

I had the honour of translating a quarterly meeting for the Woolworths group, based in South Africa - where Rithik was given an award by the senior leadership based in South Africa, for his exceptional customer service skills and work ethic. He has stepped up on many occasions and solved serious challenges, whilst always delivering for his customers.

Congratulations to Rithik and the entire team at Woolworths - not just for taking the step in hiring deaf, but for creating an environment where deaf can shine.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 Our first session of 'Thrive-Ability, Nurturing Mental Health for All' was an absolute success! 🎉

The Global Rainbow Foundation in collaboration with JCI Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill kicked off the project with an empowering workshop led by the incredible Nansha from Auxxa Models and NB Elite Edu-Cademy.

Together, we delved into the world of self-esteem and self-confidence building, laying the foundation for a journey of growth and empowerment.

The energy in the room was electric, and we were blown away by the enthusiasm and engagement of our candidates. 😊 It's clear that there's a real hunger for support and connection among persons with disabilities and their families.
