Nothing worthwhile comes easily, and there is no such thing as overnight success. Nobody goes into the handcrafted food industry to be rich. If you're any excellent at what you do, you're probably constantly questioning yourself, or have gone through a long period of doing so. It is OK to live a limited and comfortable existence, but it is also acceptable to constantly push boundaries and seek progress. I've been caught between these two notions lately, and I'm intensely aware of how fortunate I am to be able to choose where I want to be. Thank you for all of your help this year and in the past. My little microbakery thrives because you keep returning, and we appreciate you.

My first character macaron cake for the cutest cat ever. Loved working on it. Big macarons are definitely easier to paint than little ones. Wanted to add more details but I had to convince myself that less was more 😅

Probably my most favourite macaron cake this year. Chocolate macaron shells coated with chocolate and sprinkled with Graham cracker crumbs, filled with torched marshmallow frosting, chocolate ganache and graham cracker crunch bits.
