1. Know your product - To be an entrepreneur, we need to identify what products we want to sell and who is the target group who will be buyers for our products. Every thing we want to start, we need to study all the available details in order to facilitate the development of our business path.

2. Reject any negative perceptions - We also need to be prepared to reject any perceptions and criticisms of people who say doing business is difficult who may have malicious intent to bring us down. What is most important is that we must continue to move forward without looking back and always strive to increase our focus to grow our business.

3. Wise financial management - Many people get stuck and misstep in terms of financial management until they fall into the valley of debt which gives difficulties in their lives. Therefore, we need to study hard by taking financial management courses and how to govern our company well to be efficient and effective. Based on my experience, “my financial management at the beginning of this business journey was quite confusing. After I took a financial management course, only then did I see a way for us to manage our spending properly so that sales and profits are not mixed up. ”

4. Be sensitive to time management - Don’t be so comfortable with the time we get that we neglect to make the most of free time. Once you have qualified as an entrepreneur, you need to give high commitment and focus to always think about how to make product innovations, strategies to expand the product market and many more. Don't be lazy and make the most of your time!

5. Learn the latest trends - Online marketing is too widespread nowadays. I see every entrepreneur needs to learn how to leverage highly effective social media platforms to advertise and promote products. It is very flexible, economical and does not require high costs to market the product easily.

6. Know the entrepreneurial agency platform - Before this I did not know MARA in a I just heard that MARA only has GIATMARA and learning under MARA. When I registered as a MARA entrepreneur there were many opportunities and pathways provided by MARA such as product marketing, packaging, financing, advisory services, and ways to stand out on social media and many more benefits we can get from MARA.

7. Competitive - Nowadays we see so many entrepreneurs selling diverse products. One of the important things for us to prioritize is to ensure that our products are halal, clean, safe, and of high quality. This emphasis will give confidence to buyers to use our products. Indirectly, we can also reduce a bit the challenge of competing with other entrepreneurs.

8. Review product weaknesses - Every product produced will not be perfect. Therefore, we need to place emphasis on producing quality products, affordable prices and according to market prices. Criticism and comments from the customer are important points for us to identify the weaknesses of the product so that we can review and level the weaknesses.

9. Creative and innovative - This element is important for us to continue to strive to be competitive. Successful entrepreneurs are entrepreneurs who always have new ideas. We need to look at the products of entrepreneurs that are in the market, need to know what the mission and vision of the business and the scope of marketing they do so that we can renew existing products and become a different and unique.

10. Be prepared for the challenges ahead - We cannot predict any possible challenges that will hit the economy. The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected business activities, especially the entrepreneurs of Small and Medium Industries and even large companies have gone bankrupt. Therefore, we need to minimize the expenses that may be wasted so that we can maintain the existing things.
