A magnificent sleeper of the vintage, the 2008 Duhart Milon is the shrewd consumer’s wine to purchase by the case as prices do not yet reflect its qualitative resurgence. Composed of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot that came in at 13.09% alcohol, it is a surprisingly intense effort displaying a marvelous texture, plenty of black currant, licorice, unsmoked cigar to***co and earthy characteristics, a full-bodied mouthfeel and stunning purity as well as density. Enjoy this top-notch 2008 over the next 20-25 years

Description
Golden ADAMAS® is an exceptionally rare Italian caviar and by far the most prestigious. The caviar’s characteristics make it unique and impossible to copy. Golden Adamas is obtained from the extremely rare albino sturgeon. Known to have been historically the caviar preferred by tsars and emperors, its white roes recall the colour of gold.

This medium-sized is prepared using the traditional “Malossol” process.


Suggested pairings
The caviar of emperors should be paired with a wine of equal standing. The extremely delicate taste of the Golden ADAMAS caviar pairs superbly with vintage and aged champagnes. Should you wish to follow the Russian tradition, a rigorously chilled and triple-distilled vodka will also be an appropriate option.

Albino sturgeon trivia
Albino sturgeons spend all their life in deep waters or vats that are protected from direct sunlight. Due to their natural vulnerability Albino sturgeons are an extremely rare sighting in the wild, to the point that Caspian fishermen would usually present them as a gift to their sovereigns.
