This is one of the most common stretching done by every gymnast, or even ballerinas. It can be done by using chairs or yoga blocks. The main purpose of it is to stretch your hamstrings and improve your glutes and hips flexibility.

Flexibility is one of the important key to be a gymnast. Over the years, coaches have been focusing on our gymnasts’ flexibilities in order for them to do their elements and stunts better.
