Apakah itu AIO dan apakah itu AI2, apa beza Snap dan Aplix?
This week we'll be looking into the type of cloth diapers (CDs) and their differences, pros and cons.
Aplix vs Snap
Aplix adalah jenis velcro yang dicipta oleh Grovia. Ia adalah lembut, tidak kasar superti velcro biasa oleh itu tidak boleh calar anak. Aplix lebih sesuai diguna apabila kita memerlukan kelengkapan yang lebih ketat/sendat. Ini biasanya berlaku apabila anak lebih kecil dan muda, juga bila tidak lagi tahu cara untuk membuka Aplix. Snap adalah sejenis button. Jenis ini lebih sesuai apabila anak sudah lebih besar dan tahu cara untuk membuka Aplix.
Aplix is a type of velcro that was invented by Grovia. It is much softer than regular velcro and does not scratch the child. Aplix is more appropriate when you require a more snug fit for the child. Being that the child may be younger and smaller in size hence a tighter fit may be more appropriate. Also some children may figure out how to open the Aplix at an older age hence the next alternative of a Snap type diaper, would then be more efficacious. Snap diapers are more appropriate for larger and older children that have figured how to open an Aplix.
AIO
AIO mempunyai soaker/insert yang tidak boleh dikeluarkan. Manfaat jenis ini adalah apabila sudah kotor kita boleh basuh satu cloth diaper serta merta termasuk insert.
AIOs have an integrated soaker pad that is non-removable. The benefit of this is that you have an absorbent insert that is already in place whenever you require it. However generally, when it is soiled, the whole cloth diaper including the shell needs to be put in the wash.
AI2
AI2 memberikan anda pilihan untuk sama ada kamu ingin basuh shell (Bahagian luar) cloth diaper atau hanya ganti dengan pre-fold atau insert yang baru dan masih gunakan shell yang sama.
AI2s give you the flexibility to remove the soaker pad/insert or pre-fold and put it in the wash when soiled, replacing it with a new one, whilst keeping the exterior shell.
Kedua-dua jenis ini mempunyai kebaikan pilihan ini adalah terpulang kepada situasi dan keperluan anda.
Both types have their pros and cons, it is really dependent on your requirement and suitability for the situation. The above are merely guidelines for usage from our experience.
