Christmas time is a joyful and fun-filled season for Graceland children as they get to share the joy of baking Christmas cookies 🔔, making Christmas art and craft🎄, sing along Christmas songs 🎺, and learn about Christmas together with friends and teachers! 🎁

We have ended 2023 with Christmas Party, and we will see Graceland parents, children, and teachers again in January 2024!

Graceland children had the opportunity to learn about Deepavali, one of the festivals celebrated by Hindus in Malaysia. The children turned the Diya oil lamp pictures into colourful to represent the light driving away the darkness 🪔
We are grateful for the parents who shared the joy with us by sending us some traditional Indian snacks! 😋

Can you plant a bean, watch it grow up big and green? 🌱

Be it digging with tiny shovels in the dirt, sowing seeds in a straight line, or watering plants in the garden, each and every gardening activity acts as an opportunity for children to gain knowledge and enhance the development of Fine Motor Skills as well as Gross Motor Skills. Let's take a look on how they immerse themselves while doing the plant-related activities!

Graceland children feel excited to celebrate Merdeka Day in the month of August, they wanted to show appreciation, love, and pride for our country by recognising the national flag, learning to sing national anthem, knowing the national flower, and many other activites! In short, we love our country and we are proud to be Malaysian!

Graceland children dwelled into the topic of Insects by taking a trip to Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Farm 🚌💨
They got the chance to walk in the nature, view the life cycle of butterfly in real life, as well as exploring various type of insects. We ended the day trip by crawling, jumping, running, climbing, and throwing at the NextGen Edutainment Themepark.
Just look at how the children enjoyed themselves during the learning trip! 🤗

Graceland children began to understand the body parts of insects by singing the song 'Head, Thorax, Abdomen'. Other than that, they had a wonderful time choosing the colourful pom pom balls in order to make their very own caterpillar. 🐛

Graceland的孩子们透过歌曲 《Head, Thorax, Abdomen》来掌握昆虫的身体部位。此外，孩子们也选择了色彩缤纷的绒球来制作属于他们独一无二的毛毛虫 🐛

Animals is one of the favourite topics for the young learner as there are so much to talk about!
Graceland children had fun building knowledge about animals through making arts and crafts, fixing puzzles, and nursery rhymes that related to animals.

Preparing meal together can be a fun way to teach the children valuable skills, such as food safety, as well as building literacy and fine motor skills.

Graceland children often exchange conversation among themselves during sand play. Sandpit is definitely a fun and perfect place for children to build up their social skills!

Age 4 children learned and established good habits of hygiene by demonstration. They are often clumsy and inefficient in the beginning, but practice makes perfect!

Hiring for Kindergarten Admin Cum Homework Class Teacher
TADIKA MONTESSORI GRACELAND
Location: Taman Bukit Desa, Kepong
Salary: RM1,800 - RM2,500 (depends on qualifications and experience)

Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate with parents for fees collection, receipts issuance and other matters.
- Answer phone calls and attend to new enquiries.
- Compile, prepare and file documents of students' attendance, teaching materials and kindergarten activities.
- Assist the principal in kindergarten day-to-day operations.
- Teach and guide students in completing their homework during second half of the day.
- Participate in staff meetings, training days, parents' day and school functions according to the published schedule.

Job Requirements:
- Fresh graduates or school leavers are encouraged to apply. Working experience in the related field will be additional advantage.
- Able to speak and communicate in English and Mandarin.
- Highly motivated, energetic and passionate to work with children from 4-6 years old.
- A keen learner and team player with a positive working attitude.
- Working hours are 9am-6pm (weekdays) and 9am-1pm (Saturday).
