Today at our Ampang center, we introduced our children to the concept of cuboid assembly. This activity uses concrete materials to introduce abstract concepts and critical thinking skills. 🧠✨

The cuboid consists of several coloured blocks that must be assembled in a specific way. Children must read the instructions carefully and understand how to fit the blocks together. This requires their fine motor skills and the ability to distinguish between the blocks based on various characteristics.

Through focused effort and multiple attempts, our children successfully assembled the cuboid! Look at their proud faces! 🎉👏

The Pink Tower, a classic Montessori apparatus, is essential for sensory development in young children. Comprising ten pink wooden cubes of varying sizes, this apparatus helps children grasp concepts of order, size, and dimension.

As they carefully stack the cubes from largest to smallest, children enhance their concentration, fine motor skills, and coordination. 🧠🎨 The uniform pink colour draws their attention to the subtle differences in size, sharpening their visual senses. 👁️

What are the other creative ways to learn numbers other than on paper? Our teachers in Ampang created a captivating activity to engage the little ones to count numbers from 1 to 10 by placing sticks into cups labelled with corresponding numbers.

Making learning learning enjoyable is our motto. Our children always have so much fun that they do not even realise they're learning! 🌟📚🎉

Our children in Ampang delved into the alphabet with their books, reading and pronouncing the words aloud. To reinforce their learning, they used Montessori moveable alphabets to match letters with their corresponding sounds.

It is crucial for children learning to read to understand that words are composed of sounds that are combined to form words.🔤

Play is essential during a child's development, helping them learn to speak, interact with others, understand their growing bodies, manage emotions, and respond to various situations. It shapes who they will become in the future.🎨✨

Today at our Ampang centre, teachers introduced our children to ladies' fingers, also known as okra.

These uniquely textured vegetables, with their smooth yet slightly prickly surface, offered a unique sensory experience to the children. As they explored the slimy texture and observed the intriguing shapes, their senses were truly engaged.

They further explored the okra by using it for stamping and painting, creating star-shaped patterns that amazed them! 👩‍🎨🌸🎨
