Last weekend, we hosted an enlightening 𝙀𝙔𝙁𝙎 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 for our Bumble Bees parents. 🐝🌟 The session began with a warm welcome from Ms Sarah, Head of School, who shared insights into the rich history of the EYFS.
Ms Dee explained the 7 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨 to parents and their integration. She further elaborated on how they cater to diverse learning levels and abilities, sparking interest among the parents.
Led by Ms Santhana, the session shifted to a hands-on activity, where parents engaged in creating educational activities like 'Animal Treasure Hunt' and 'Matching and Building Tower.' Then, each group explained how their designed activity could support the children in all 7 learning areas. This demonstrated the practicality and effectiveness of the EYFS educational methods. 💡
Highlighting our commitment to innovative educational practices, Ms Santhana demonstrated our observational assessment methods. These helped the parents get a real-time view of how we support their child’s progress. The workshop concluded with Ms Sarah's overview of our unique progress tracker, an initiative that ensures personalised student development tracking.
The enthusiastic participation of parents clearly affirmed the workshop's success in enhancing understanding and collaboration between our school and the parent community.
