Eco-Conscious Brilliance: HUONE Copenhagen's Acoustic Metamorphosis

In 2019, we undertook a remarkable journey with the HUONE Events Copenhagen project, highlighting the marriage of sustainable design and acoustic finesse. By embracing innovation, we seamlessly merged aesthetics, functionality, and environmental responsibility.

The project's crowning glory was the integration of sustainable acoustic panels, meticulously crafted from PET plastic sourced from recycled drinking bottles. A mere 88 bottles were needed to create a square meter of these panels, and through our efforts, we recycled nearly 30,000 bottles to yield an astounding 340 square meters of 12mm-thick acoustic panels.

In a space where meetings hold paramount importance, these panels proved transformative. By absorbing excess noise, they not only elevated the room's ambiance but also facilitated meaningful interactions.

HUONE Copenhagen became a testament to our commitment: crafting spaces that transcend beauty, enrich functionality, and uphold our planet's well-being. With each panel, we echoed our dedication to sustainable innovation, leaving behind not just exquisite interiors, but a legacy of purposeful design.
