A 5250 sqft high-end condominium, Aira Residence located in Damansara Heights, uniquely cultivated by its own unique sense of style that combines both modern and oriental elements that exudes elegance, refinement and grace. The characteristics of modern oriental design are the refined attention to detail and a deliberate balancing of colors and textures for an effortless transition between modern and oriental elements.

In creating a contemporary oriental atmosphere in the living space, our designers selected key modern elements such as black wood veneer, gold accents, and linen texture wallpaper. Complementing these are various traditional oriental features, including circular and curved ceiling details, custom-made minimalist oriental wallpaper, oriental ink painting and carpets. Drawing inspiration for the foyer from the modern Chinese lattice work, the design of the display cabinets incorporates repetitive structures and bilateral symmetry, with carefully chosen marble to maintain thematic consistency. Transitioning to textured statement walls, we utilized rough textures like flamed finish granite for the TV feature wall, juxtaposed with soft, wavy patterned wallpaper and plush furnishings to achieve a harmonious balance. In the dining room, an oriental mural texture painting, thoughtfully curated by an artist, adds to the serene ambiance, enhanced by the soft linen texture. In the master bedroom, we've integrated a cohesive design by connecting the seating area, writing desk, and bedside table with curved detailing, which fulfills the requirements. The Oriental-inspired bed head, drawing inspiration from the design of frameworks, harmonizes with a subtle yet sophisticated light blue floral wallpaper. This is complemented by a modern pocket-slide in cabinet doors, tying together traditional and modern elements seamlessly.

Continuing the theme of modern oriental elements into the bedrooms, we focused on achieving textural harmony by incorporating varying sizes of wall paneling in the same style, resulting in an eclectic aesthetic. Our choice of custom-printed wallpaper features minimalist oriental motifs such as clouds, brush strokes, and mountain peaks, lending a subtle yet distinctive oriental touch. From the careful selection of marbles to the incorporation of curved elements and gold detailing, these design elements were seamlessly combined and adapted to create a home that is both comfortable and elegantly modern Oriental-inspired.

Framescape is a 2700 sqft, semi-detached house that emits modern and clean aesthetics. Framescape is designed with an open space layout concept, utilising elegant neutral palettes, metal finishes, and surface materials with depth layers of rich textures as contrasting finishes for its subtle, sophisticated tone and warmth. The frame structures are used throughout, such as the island in the dry kitchen/bar, connecting the column and the kitchen cabinet, which showcases unity. As well as the tv console/display cabinet in the living room, which puts emphasis on the floating concept with plenty of storage space. Due to the open space concept, the ceiling design uses linear, continuous elements that link the living room to the dry kitchen and dining area, bringing a sense of uniformity and wholeness. A pop of neutral green is used in contrast to the dark grey and white color palette in the wet kitchen.

When it comes to the master bedroom, there is a contrast from a cool neutral palette to the warm-toned leather laminate, and olive laminate was chosen to create a calming environment. In addition to that, the daughter's bedroom is designed to have a two-tone wall, which provides a clean, modern way to add dimension and illusion to a space while also integrating the frame elements in the dressing table design. Beyond the compelling allure of ‘Framescape’, a comfortable and soothing atmosphere was created while maintaining a sleek and modern design.

Timeless classical designs are implemented into the 14,450 sqft office floor, providing a structure, balanced with rich profiles, textures, and finishes. The gold elements combined with the checkered-maroon marble finishing to stimulate a sense of warmth in the office space. Entering the grandeur lift lobby, one will be greeted with tall ceilings, striking gold finishing as well as arches in the entryway inspired by Roman architecture which brings out an air of grandeur and sophistication to the hallway leading from the lift to the two entrances.

Greeted by a lavish curved reception desk to soften the design as well as a stunning round-coffered ceiling, making the reception appear more grandeur and welcoming, complemented with an elegant hanging sculpture as we also designed a marble feature wall, that hinders the direct view of the pantry. As for the director's room, classic characteristics originating in early Renaissance and Baroque architecture are brought into consideration from the decorous classic wall and door paneling, curved architrave elements, and coffered detail in a square grid ceiling details that bring a fun dose of class, statement chandelier, and pop of color.

Timeless, collected, composed, and curated are used to describe the design of the spaces, hence, why it is comfortable yet richly layered with gold and maroon finishing that coincides with the company's identity colors which can fuse seamlessly with the different textures that are designed to exude sophistication and opulence.

As for the interior, simplicity and comfort are taken into account by embracing wide open spaces and high ceilings, where specific materials are selected to evoke engaging familiarity and easement. The layout is carefully designed whereby it is capacious enough to fit families. Utilising and bringing emphasis to the volume of the living hall which introduces the lush courtyard, increases interaction with nature and that can be excessed through the massive pivot doors. The accentuation of the building's height by prioritizing large hallways and oversized doors that drastically exceed common dimensions, makes any space seem grand and elegant. Furthermore, the living hall is designed so that one has a direct view of the second living room due to the double-volume ceiling and the full-height windows that allow one to bask in natural sunlight, enhancing the space and overall ambience.

In order to design a sleek dry kitchen, we designed a concealed kitchen counter. The hideaway counter has all the appendages which extend and slide while keeping appliances out of sight and tucked away. Along with the elegant and clean island equipped with a sink, stove, and seating area, perfect for casual dining. Entering the dining room, the elevated formal dining setting is designed for a more intimate atmosphere.

On the highest floor, the skylight brings emphasis to the staircases during the day, which casts shadows on the stunning stairways. Leading up to the first floor, the second living room, also known as the flex room, allows parents to keep an eye on the children in the playroom, designed with the children's needs in mind. The master bedroom exudes class with clean elements and a gorgeous walk-in wardrobe and bathroom that also have a stunning skylight that gives it a luxurious yet homey touch.

'Un-fold' built on a land of 8700sf with a build-up of 8650sf is meticulously designed to create a pleasing, modern exterior using geometric manipulation at its core. In the facade, the L-shaped roofing is modularly amalgamated into a stellar yet intricate design that folds continuously to the ground. In order to bring about unity in the design of the narrow building as the 3-storey residence exceeds in height, enhancing the width by adding different depths to the roof design, the car porch roofing is designed where it is not directly aligned with the narrow building, so as to design intersecting structures showcasing unity. The facade showcases the design of the car porch roof on the ground floor which wraps to the back of the courtyard with a void in the center. The use of curtain walls is integrated continuously from the first to the second floor to divide the building from the ground floor and give it a more modern look that uses operable windows and louvres, which provide shade and embrace the light and view as well as take the tropical weather into consideration.
Louvres are integrated throughout the building due to the sun orientation which also allows light pe*******on, reduction of glare, and privacy. Greater exposure to natural light in certain parts of the abode will give better visual and physical connection between spaces. Skylights are added throughout the house, with the intention of pulling natural light into the interior to aid the dearth of natural light due to the sun's orientation and form.

The Debonair is a 3-storey semi-detached residence with a build-up of 4500 sf that emphasizes darker, masculine, and luxurious design elements. Upon entering the foyer, we designed a vertical statement-piece that divides the space and intercepts the direct view of the dry kitchen. The curved elements are fused into the masculine designs to emanate a softer and cozier look. Hence, we integrated curved elements on the ceiling profile and natural stone, Black Marquina, combined with the rough texture of the TV accent wall and gold-finishing console table in the living room. A curved drop ceiling in the dry kitchen and different floor finishes are used to showcase the open layout, which allows better flow and circulation.
The dry kitchen design is based on the concept of a recessed kitchen counter, whereby the kitchen counter looks as if it were built inside the wall that also serves as a feature or display wall. The sleek yet luxurious design of the island with the raw finish natural stone of the countertop, curved edges, black and gold finish creates the perfect balance between tough and cozy. As for the wet kitchen, granite texture is used on the countertop and backsplash with a curved L-shape counter, gold-finish kitchen cabinets above the stove that complement the gold finishing on the island, and kitchen cabinet skirting.
While designing the master bedroom, we wanted to showcase unity in the design whereby the wall panel is recessed into the curved ceiling. As for the walk-in closet, the curved ceiling profile and walls provide a softer look as the dressing table becomes a statement with the luxurious gold finish paneling. The stunning master bathroom uses Black Marquina, rough-surface granite, and a dark timber finish enhanced with minimalist sanitary fittings for an elegant look. The grand entertainment room is designed with a darker and moodier ambiance and softer lighting using concealed blue lights to fit the entertainment space. We have also designed the sound system, which is tucked away behind the projector screen, and a small pantry that has curved and gold elements and is equipped with a sink and storage.
The sophisticated masculine yet comfy design is truly emphasized using rough textures, dark moody or warm neutral colors, leather furnishings that favor the masculine side of the spectrum, and gold finishings for that luxurious touch, which is then perfectly balanced with softer elements in the structure.

Our modern take towards dark mood design in a 2800 sqft semi-detached home located at Dolomite Templer, Selayang. Earth tones are used throughout the home in conjunction with the dark timber finishing, curvy and semi circle elements giving it a modern appearance.
Applying the concept of open space planning on the ground floor in order to enlarge the space, without the use of partition, the arrangement of lighting is used to divide the dry kitchen from the living and dining area. Utilizing the layout of the space, it is organized in a manner whereby the wet kitchen is not directly seen from the entrance by using reeded glass sliding doors.
As for the master bedroom, the space planning was carefully curated which included a walk in closet with ample amount of compartmentation that meets the clients’ requirement.

The concept of “SleekLuxe” in our design is defined as sleek, with bold accent colours, integrating clean yet soft forms as well as using neutral tones and finishing. We were honoured to design a unit in a condominium called Mont Kiara 28 resided by a lovely newlywed couple where they had the idea of a neat, elegant, modern and organized home with simplicity in mind.

Entering the foyer, a feature wall acts as a entrance statement walking in as it divides the foyer from the living room and dining area, with carefully curated openings without feeling totally enclosed as well as curvy design elements to add both flow and dynamism that are subtly placed all around space. The curvy elements in our design are integrated into furnitures from loose to built-ins, ceiling design and so on throughout this home in which it instantly creates softness, warmth and a sense of comfort.

Our modern luxury approach towards the design are also complimented with bold accents such as the brushed bronze finishing kitchen cabinetry, bronze fittings and the usage of modern lighting to enhance the opulent appearance. Bringing emphasis to the master bathroom where the bathtub is placed on a raised platform, the neutral tone marble wall finishing accentuated with bronze sanitary fittings giving it a balance and luxurious feeling.

There were challenges faced during the design process which includes the clients’ requirement of having a systematized and well-kempt living environment which required plenty of storage spaces. With that, we came up with a proper space planning using organiser system that included proper storages that addressed the clients’ concerns and requirements. On the whole, every requirement was fulfilled along with embracing the modern, luxurious, sleek concept and deliberately considered materials, fittings, finishes in order to reflect the user’s personal needs and improve their experience and quality of life.

This 4,200 sqft residence in Selangor's Eco Acordance harmoniously blends Minimalist, Modern, and Contemporary styles. To accomplish this, the designer used a monochrome colour palette for materials such as metal, natural stone and cement finishing, giving a cool, sleek and sophisticated feel to the abode.

Aside from that, the designer expanded the side yard to create a dining area perfect for entertaining family and friends. The glass windows which allow plenty of natural light into the space, as well as the double volume, give the dining room the impression of dining in a huge hall.

Home Tour: A Chic and Sleek Home in Selangor, Malaysia for a Family of Six Box Design's chic and sleek home for a family of six is led by monochromatic colour palettes and rigorous material choices.

The core element of the interior is inspired from the origin colour palette and selection of materials. The monochrome colour palette of materials mainly in metal, natural stone and cement finishing expertly used throughout the unit to bring out a cool, sleek and sophisticated character to the space.

At the centre of this exquisite unit, is the crowning glory, an extended dining area to entertain family and guests alike. It gives the impression of a huge hall due to its double-volume space and curtain walls that allow plenty of natural light flows into the house. To further enhance this vibe, shades from louvres accompany the captivating skylight making it a perfect symphony. Right down the hallway, there is a dry and wet kitchen that stands out in the sea of black, grey and whites. The illuminated island in the dry kitchen immediately captures the attention of the space, allowing for a deeper appreciation of the cool colour palette used. In the wet kitchen, stainless steel counter top and stone backsplash give the space a polished and uncluttered look.

Dark wood veneer and fabric are added to the master bedroom to bring a sense of softness to the pared-down space. In the walk-in closet, custom made hanging cabinets and shelving syncs seamlessly with the master bathroom. The showcase of more vibrant colours compared to the rest of the unit for the other bedrooms is a call out to their fun nature and overwhelming creativity. These rooms add further character to the overall splendidly done unit.

An inspiration from out-of-the-box thinking, this 3,200 sq.ft. residence in Bandar Kinrara stands out to be one of a kind in our recent portfolios. The design concept of the house revolves around unconventional shapes and unique detailing, complemented with a trendy flair of elegance in the space.

Upon entering the house, the living area is subtly separated from the foyer with a full-height divider while still imbues a sense of spaciousness with the open layout. The inspiration continues where the curved drop ceiling cleverly defines the spaces between the living and dining area with different ceiling levels. Adjacent to the living space is a long dining table that integrates into the kitchen island. This visually elongated dining zone, accented with the sleek pendant light fixtures, stands to be a distinctive highlight of the space and that leads to a pantry corner designed to blend harmoniously at the back. This thoughtfully-streamlined layout achieves a seamless flow throughout the interior, offering a perfect setup for family dinings and social gatherings.

The rest of the rooms feature a series of delightful details, such as the vertical groove lines on wall panels, curved surfaces and edges, and several arch elements to add a stylish twist to the house. The tasteful mix of colors, textures, and shapes evokes a sense of eclectic sophistication that fulfills aspirations of the homeowner.
