The process of remodeling an old house to suit the occupants' tastes is not an easy task, but it is certainly a worthwhile one. Understanding the structure of existing housing, minimizing construction and understanding the current context are challenges we constantly have to solve. Rather than simply pursuing functionality and beauty, it is important for us to understand the user's lifestyle and to understand and design homes from an urban perspective that harmonizes with the surrounding environment. The house should be like the owner, a translator who understands and interprets well.
