Stellantis akan lancarkan kenderaan yang dipasang dengan bateri keadaan pepejal (solid-state) menjelang 2026 daripada syarikat permulaan Amerika Syarikat, Factorial.
Bateri keadaan pepejal itu dijangka mengurangkan risiko kebakaran dan membolehkan kereta yang lebih ringan dan kos rendah yang boleh bergerak lebih jauh dengan sekali cas.

Japan Introduces Magnetic Levitation for Cars
Japan has unveiled a groundbreaking magnetic levitation technology for cars that could render engines and batteries obsolete.
Developed by researchers at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), this technology enables vehicles to float a few centimeters above a specially designed track, drastically improving energy efficiency by eliminating friction.
The system requires power only at start-up to generate the magnetic field, allowing cars to move without further energy input.
Utilizing diamagnetic materials and powerful magnets, it operates similarly to Maglev trains but with lower ongoing energy needs.
Despite challenges such as managing kinetic energy and vortex damping, this innovation could mark a significant shift in automotive design.

Hydrogen ð®
Kawasaki Motors has unveiled its first hydrogen-powered motorcycle with an internal combustion engine at the Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka City, Japan. This motorcycle is a result of ongoing research that began in March 2023.
The hydrogen-powered bike features a 998 cc in-line four-cylinder supercharged engine, modified to inject hydrogen directly into the cylinders.
This results in water and moist air being emitted from the exhaust. The chassis has been adapted to accommodate hydrogen fuel canisters and a hydrogen fuel supply system.
According to Kawasaki, hydrogen burns much faster and over a wider temperature range than petrol, providing a more responsive feel.
While the brand has not disclosed the bike's specifications, it is known that the H2 SX model produces 210 hp and 137 Nm of peak torque.

Lawatan ini bertujuan untuk melihat peluang kerjasama diantara industri dan universiti dalam pelbagai bidang termasuk pembangunan produk di dalam sektor automotif, pertahanan dan marin.
