Did you know? 🤔🤔🤔
1. Women are more likely to experience higher levels of stress than men.
.
2. Women are more likely to report physical and emotional symptoms of stress as compared to men.
.
3. Married women have been reported to experience higher levels of stress as compared to single women.
Do you often feel overwhelmed, depressed, or anxious?😔 Are there times where you feel like an empty shell wanting to isolate yourself from the world?😢 Do you also find it difficult to connect with others? If so, it may indicate that certain needs aren’t being addressed.
Women are primarily known for putting others first. But when it comes to your health, particularly mental health, how many of us are able to prioritise ourselves for better well-being? While caring and taking care of our loved ones can be very rewarding, if not managed adequately, it can also be our source of stress. 😔
Major life transitions such as adjusting to married life, dealing with pregnancy, motherhood and menopause can create physical and emotional stresses for women. Not only that, negative life experiences such as trauma, violence, infertility and perinatal loss, poverty, discrimination, unemployment and isolation can also have a negative impact on women's mental health and wellbeing. This can put you at higher risk for mental and physical health issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder), heart diseases, strokes, and suicidal thoughts.
Therefore, it is key and important to prioritise your own needs and know that it's okay to speak up when you need support. ❤️❤️❤️
In this webinar, you will learn: 🙋🏼♀️
1. How to prioritise on your needs related to mental health issues and well-being.
2. Signs to know when your mental health is not okay
3. Factors that can lead to poor mental health
4. Ways to effectively deal and manage your mental health and well-being
👩🏻🦰👱🏼♂️All men and women are invited to join.

The biggest challenge of Traditional & Complementary Medicine practitioner is to provide evidence or clinical research on their Modality.
Now that MoH has taken the initiative to get feedback from the ground. It's an excellent opportunity for us to understand the requirements and knowledge on how to go about in this area.
I would strongly suggest all Traditional & Complementary Medicine practitioners fill up this survey. If there is a big demand, MoH can organize a workshop with the relevant department to this effect. Great opportunity to seek their assistant to compile/write a research paper to strengthen your practice.
Unfortunately, the closing date for submission is tomorrow. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete the survey form. DO IT NOW and don't miss this opportunity. It is for the future of our T&CM
Regards
Connie

Due to the increasing severity of the new domestic coronavirus pneumonia, with the encouragement of the Chinese Consul General in Penang, His Excellency Lu Shiwei, more than 20 professionals with a background in Chinese medicine, Western medicine and integrated Chinese and Western medicine have established the "Penang Chinese and Western Medicine Anti-epidemic Group", Committed to taking advantage of the combination of Chinese and Western medicine to fight the epidemic.
Everyone called on and mobilized the people to improve their own immune function in addition to epidemic prevention, wearing masks and using hand sanitizer.
There is a saying in the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon of Traditional Chinese Medicine: "In the right qi there is memory, evil cannot be done." The first channel of preventing disease is fundamentally to strengthen the body's own immunity.
Our group has obtained the proposed preventive formula widely used in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, which has been confirmed by the China Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a guideline for the prevention of new coronavirus pneumonia. The preventive prescription is peaceful and suitable for the young and old.
We have voluntarily set up 13 medical stations in Penang. The main goal is to help Penang people. During the implementation of the action control order, due to the inconvenience of going out at will, provide people with convenient medical services and let them go to the medical station closest to their residence to buy the preventive party.
Currently 13 medical stations are established in:
Penang Island

Ministry of health’s notification to the public that influenza this time is serious. The prevention method is to keep your throat moist, do not let your throat dry up. Thus do not hold your thirst because once your membrane in your throat is dried, the virus will invade into your body within 10 mins.
Drink 50-80cc warm water, 30-50cc for kids, according to age. Every time you feel your throat is dry, do not wait, keep water in hand. Do not drink plenty at one time as it doesn’t help, instead continue to keep the throat moist. Till the end of March, do not go to crowded places, wear a mask as needed especially in the train or public transportation. Avoid fried or spicy food and load up vitamin C.
The symptoms/ description are
1.repeated high fever
2.prolonged coughing after a fever
3. Children are prone
4. Adults usually feel uneasy, headache and mainly respiratory-related
