Our jam/practice sessions are held weekly in preparation for our concert, and are separate from regular lessons, so we’re super grateful to all teachers for taking the time to stay back or drop by just to monitor our students’ progress and performance.

Congratulations to Ayden and Aisyah, who were awarded the highest marks in the Keyboard and Violin exams in 2023, respectively! It’s wonderful to see their hard work being recognized nationally! We’re also grateful to for organizing such a meaningful event!

On a side note, although Aisyah couldn’t attend the award ceremony, our violin teacher was there to represent her. We’d also like to acknowledge Joshua, who supported Aisyah during her first violin exam. It’s heartening to witness such a positive relationship between teacher and student!

Introducing our new event: Busk & Jam!

We have always wanted to give our students a chance to perform in front of the public, and now we’ve finally made it possible to set up a stage right in front of our centre in the mall!

How does it work?

Instruments and equipment will be prepared. The performance may be performed solo, 2-piece, or even full band, depending on the musician availability.

For now, performance slots will only be reserved for our students and teachers. In the future, we hope to make it open to anyone interested!

If you are a student from Drum Connect and you want to perform, you may speak to our admin and submit a list of:

1. Your song/repertoire choice
2. Your instrument-of-choice.
3. Which Saturday to perform on.

The submission deadline will be every Wednesday before the event. For instance, if you are keen to join the 2nd Mar, the deadline will be 28th Feb.

First time helping out with a film and fundraising event! We are happy to sponsor our studio for them to do voiceover and dubbing. Wish them a great success with the film! ✨✨

While we typically reserve our studio for music-related activities involving our students, we're excited to make an exception and showcase how our space can be utilized for diverse projects.

At the same time, it’s an unfortunate news that our MVP, Stephanie, will be leaving Drum Connect soon.

She has been a great help ever since Drum Connect has started. Not only she does her admin well, but she also helped with many of our projects and performances.

Not only that… during Drum Connect darkest time, she remained determined and strong throughout. I guess the Stephanie’s initial really epitome “Sunshine”.

With her presence, our memories have been a rather memorable and unique one. I am sure all of us wish her to stay, at the same time, let us all wish her all the best with her future pursue!
