UNHCR, in collaboration with Asia School of Business, is launching an innovative project to enhance adult literacy within refugee communities and help refugee community members learn Bahasa Malaysia.

Hence, were looking for a TikTok content creator to leverage the power of social media to achieve our goals.

The key responsibilities of content creator that were looking for are as below :

Create short, engaging TikTok videos teaching Bahasa Malaysia to adults. The content should be easily understandable and culturally relevant to the refugee community
Create creative video to teach vocabulary, grammar, common phrase and everyday conversation
Each video should have English and Bahasa Malaysia subtitles
Creators will be compensated per video. Details will be discussed during the selection process
The video template he/she needs to produce is attached. You may check out the ASB TikTok (my cultured) video on the Malay content they have created

The content creators that we are looking for are as below :

a member of refugee community
age 18 and above
proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
familiar with TikTok and able to create engaging, high quality videos
knows basic video editing skills

"9 June Now 2 Rohingya families in Hainr Fara 4 death 8 injuries many AA Member Death or injuries, MDW were attacked with drones by Military Council today ( 9th June ). Arakan Army positioned the village and Military Council attacked them with drones and it resulted two Rohingya families in fatalities and casualties. Rohingyas are in target." (Informer text)

"On 9th June, two Rohingya families in Hainr Fara village suffered four deaths and eight injuries. According to villagers, multiple Arakan Army (AA) members were also killed or injured during a drone attack by the military council in Maung Daw township. The AA had taken up positions in the Rohingya village, and the military council retaliated with the drone strike. As a result, two Rohingya families suffered fatalities and casualties. The Rohingya are being targeted in these attacks".

Subject: Requesting immediate implementation R2P to Protect Rohingya in Arakan

We, the Rohingya people, urgently demand protection and an immediate cessation of the ongoing genocide perpetrated by the Arakan Army (AA) and the Burmese military in the northern Arakan State, including the townships of Maung Daw, Buthidaung, Kyauk Taw, Akyab(sittwe), Rathedaung, Mrauk U, and Minbya.

We are gravely concerned by the reports of the AA and Burmese Army arresting, abducting, and forcibly conscripting Rohingya civilians to serve as soldiers and human shields on the frontlines of the conflict. This abhorrent practice must be halted without delay.

Furthermore, we condemn the systematic destruction of Rohingya villages by the AA, including the recent burning of the entire Buthidaung township. We are also appalled by the AA's exploitation of the Rohingya people, using them as a source of extortion and illicit funding for their armed campaign through illegal human trafficking and forced financial demands.

We urgently call upon the United Nations and the international community to intervene and establish a safe and protected zone for the Rohingya people, who have endured unimaginable atrocities and human rights abuses at the hands of these armed groups. We demand a thorough and impartial investigation into the crimes against humanity, human trafficking, mass killings, r**e, abductions, and the deliberate use of Rohingya villages as battlegrounds by all armed actors in the region.

Time is of the essence, and we implore the global community to take immediate action to safeguard the lives and well-being of the Rohingya people, who have already suffered immensely from the ongoing cycle of violence and oppression.

We, the Rohingya people, have been subjected to Genocide committed by Rakhines and Bamars since 1942 (specifically in 1942, 1978, 1990, 2012, 2017 and ongoing).

We would like to remind again that the Arakan Army and Burmese Army have been committing genocide against the Rohingya, engaging in the killing, burning, and abducting of Rohingya civilians repeatedly in Northan Arakan State.

The Rohingya genocide case has been brought before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) since 11, November 2019, and many countries, including the United States, have recognized the atrocities committed against the Rohingya as genocide.

The International Fact-Finding Mission (IFFM), Human Rights Watch (HRW), and the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) have all released statements demanding that the United Nations immediately provide security for the Rohingya community. As stated by the IFFM, "There is an ongoing ethnic cleansing of Rohingya in Arakan."

The ASEAN parliament has held an immediate meeting to address the ongoing genocide of Rohingya in Buthidaung, according to reports.

The Rohingya people urgently need the protection and security of the United Nations, with the deployment of a peacekeeping force.

In accordance with the 1948 Genocide Convention, the 1967 Protocol, and the 1951 UN Convention, the Rohingya people demand the immediate establishment of a Safe-Zone to ensure their security and safety. As stated in the 1948 Genocide Convention, "The Contracting Parties confirm that genocide, whether committed in time of peace or in time of war, is a crime under international law which they undertake to prevent and to punish."

Therefore, We, the Rohingya, demand the immediate creation of a Safe-Zone to ensure our safety and security.

We, Rohingya, wholeheartedly appreciate Your Excellency for your kind attention to this call for R2P and your commitment to protecting the 'most persecuted people of the world'.

We, Rohingya Development & Welfare Foundation, equivocally condemn these dehumanizing and disrespectful on the United Nation and its esteem leadership by a group of Terrorist Supporter.

American Government would not allow a group of terrorists and supporters of the Arakan Terrorist Army to dehumanize the head of the UN and other international leaders. The Arakan Terrorist Army (AA) is not a legal armed group and furthermore AA has committed genocide and war crimes against the Chin and Rohingya communities in Chin Stare and Arakan State in Burma.

The U.S. government needs to take immediate and strong action against the genocide supporters to prevent further genocide in Arakan. It is also vital to ensure the safety of U.S. citizens. As long as the perpetrators of genocide and their supporters are free in the U.S., the negative ideologies and terrorist acts will continue to pose a threat. Therefore, the U.S. government should take robust action against the genocidaires and genocide supporters within the country for the safety of American citizens

Subject: To take immediate action against the Rohingya genocidaires who have taken refuge in the US

Dear Sir/Madam,

We, the Rohingya people, are deeply shocked to witness how Rohingya genocidaires are able to take refuge in the United States (US) and manipulating the world by exploiting the name Rohingya for their political mileage without any fear or remorse.
We humbly request your good office to take immediate action against the Rohingya genocidaires who have taken refuge in the US and continue to manipulate people.
Please, let me provide the names of some of those responsible people for Rohingya genocide for your information.
On 5 August 2017, State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi said, "It is impossible to live with terrorists [referring to the Rohingya]. Then we will make clearance operations". She then ordered the Burmese genocidaire army to carry out an operation in Arakan, which took place on 25 August 2017, known as the "clearance operation". This operation resulted in the complete destruction and devastation of the Rohingya community (see source link1 below).
Pansilo, a well-known Burmese celebrity and close associate of Aung San Suu Kyi who was widely followed on social media in Myanmar, is now actively spreading hatred and inciting violence against the Rohingya community with millions of followers. Pansilo is one of the people mostly responsible for the Rohingya genocide, as she has been inciting and spreading hatred against Rohingya Muslims and other Burmese Muslim communities. Sometimes she refers to them as insects and at other times she compares them to dinosaurs. We are deeply saddened that she remains free in the US, a country known for its democratic values. Pansilo's social media posts from 2012 to 2020 were filled with hatred and incitement against Rohingya Muslims; although she has since deleted her social media accounts, we have collected extensive data from Facebook (see source link2 below).

Win Myat Aye is a former minister in the Myanmar government. He is directly responsible for the genocide of the Rohingya. It is heart-breaking to see that they remain free and continue to harass the survivors of the genocide. It is also heart-breaking to see these individuals living freely in America. It is difficult to comprehend that all the Rohingya genocidaires have been able to take refuge in the US, a country known for its pursuit of justice and democratic values. Win Myat Aye has targeted and vilified the Rohingya community, denying their existence, accusing them of being illegal Bengali migrants and terrorists, and giving full support to the Burmese army while committing genocide against Rohingya.
We are providing links to some of his social media posts, which can help the international community track their crimes with the help of social media companies. We strongly believe that the crime of genocide is unforgivable.
We, the Rohingya, implore your Honour to take immediate action against all genocidaires and prevent the Rohingya community from being abused by other groups such as the NUG (see source link3 below).

It is important for the international community to take note that most of the so-called leaders and activists claiming to represent the Rohingya community have become pawns of the Burmese political leaders and are constantly trying to mislead the international community.
Kyaw Moe Tun, Myanmar's former Permanent Representative to the UN and current NUG representative, is the most dangerous person who has openly supported genocide at the UN and defied all human rights groups. He bears the greatest responsibility for the genocide of the Rohingya people and has directly aided and abetted the Burmese army in its ongoing genocide, even trying to protect them at the United Nations Security Council (see source link4 below).
Tharawin Pye, a Burmese writer, has been spreading hatred and incitement against the Rohingya genocide, labelling all Rohingya as terrorists. He used to call the UN a terrorist supporter until the coup. He too has taken refuge in the US.
Maung Maung Aye, a Burmese political celebrity, once said: "I want to play the Burmese national song and have every Rohingya sing it; those who cannot should have their throats cut. He is currently enjoying freedom in the US that is dangerous for everyone.
We are particularly concerned for American citizens when the most dangerous psychopathic genocidaires are able to reside freely in the US, as we fear they may spread hatred and incite violence against various ethnic groups, as they believe in chauvinism. We have provided links to some of their posts (see source link5 below).
Min Ko Naing, a respected 88 Generation student leader in Myanmar and now lives in the US, have been instrumental in spreading hatred and incitement to genocide against the Rohingya throughout the country. He consistently deny the existence of the Rohingya in Myanmar and portray the Rakhine issue as having nothing to do with rational or religious issues, instead labelling it a problem of terrorism and illegal Bangladeshi immigrants. He often use this rhetoric as a form of derogatory language.
Thank you for your Honour's kind attention to this matter. We desperately seek justice and hope necessary action is taken against those responsible for Rohingya genocide.
They have misused social media to openly support and spread rumours against the Rohingya, even going so far as to say, 'Get out of our country now, there is no place for you'. They have completely destroyed the entire Rohingya community physically, morally, spiritually and mentally. It is crucial to stop what they're doing immediately (see source link6 below).
Zim Mar Aung (NUG's Minister for Foreign Affairs) and Khin Ma Ma Myo (NUG's Minister of Defense) have maliciously supported the Rohingya genocide and have posted several messages on social media applauding the Burmese genocidal army's completion of the ongoing genocide from 2016 to 2020. They have referred to the Rohingya community as dangerous insects and advocated their immediate extermination. Through their incitement and hate speech, they have undeniably played a direct role in the genocide of the Rohingya.

We respectfully request that your Honour do not allow any of the genocidaires to go free, as this poses a danger to all humanity. Please, take action against all of them (see source link7 below).

Most members of the NUG have been involved in the Rohingya genocide. As Rohingya people, we refuse to negotiate with genocidaires, as no one can collaborate with those responsible for genocide, as stated in the UN Charter.
The Rohingya have been subjected to ethnic cleansing and genocide at least 15 times in the last 80 years. As a result, we, the Rohingya, have lost all faith and trust in the Burmese government.
It is completely unacceptable that a democratic country like the US is harboring some of the world's most dangerous genocidaires instead of taking immediate action.
We also acknowledges that the US has already recognised the Rohingya genocide and has been taking necessary steps to curb it.
We worry that the international community would misunderstood the US efforts for also giving refuge to the above-mentioned genocidaires.
Once again, we, the Rohingya people, would like to inform your Honour that most of the so-called leaders and activists among the Rohingya have become pawns of the NUG and other Burmese leaders who are trying to delay or dismantle the Rohingya genocide case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). We, the Rohingya people, seek justice and demand the establishment of a safe zone because we firmly believe that the victims of this ongoing genocide deserve a safe and peaceful life.
We believe in the US democratic system and we trust your Honour. You are our last hope, so we ask for your help to save the Rohingya who have managed to survive the Burmese genocide.
