It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of one of our cherished para archer, Katelyn Venter. Katelyn was a dedicated athlete and a vibrant member of the para sports family. Her enthusiasm and commitment to archery inspired us all.

Our deepest condolences go out to her family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.Katelyn’s presence will be profoundly missed, but her spirit and passion for the sport will forever remain in our hearts.

Please join us in honoring her memory and celebrating the remarkable life she lived.

Had a fantastic time yesterday with the French Embassy in Namibia at , celebrating Johanna Benson, Namibia's first gold medallist (London 2012). We hosted workshops for children and adults, showcasing Paralympic disciplines.🇳🇦

The races for Paralympic places are hotting up in '24! Para triathletes have been collecting qualification points since the 12-month Paralympic qualification period started on 1 July '23 and the continues in 2024 with these stunning Para Series and Para Cup race locations (qualification period ends 1 July '24)! The lnternational Paralympic Committee together with Ministry of Sport, Youth and National Service, Republic of Namibia Namibia Sports Commission continue to strengthen NPC Namibia to increase the knowledge,skills and opportunities for NPC to develop para athletes and para sport with National Federations NFs, IFs,athletes coaches,technical officials and managers as the main target group.
To achieve this a workshop is ongoing in Otjiwarongo to promote strong leadership,governance,planning and athlete development.

2024 season of the Nedbank Windhoek Pedal Power Race Series kicked off today along the Dordabis road east of Windhoek.🛣️ 🚴‍♀️

The race saw some of the hand cyclists part of the opening of the 2024 season.
