It’s the start of Dash Season! Hooray! Have you entered? Hollard and Deo Pharma have generously stepped up to sponsor our waterpoints again this season.

Please show up in numbers this weekend to show your gratitude! And tag them on social media as much as you can! The rides are FREE and suits beginners to racing snakes! LA signs have sponsored our wonderful trophies so go for gold!

The ride starts 7am sharp from Kappsfarm and goes past Naankuse where you can refuel for water at their gate. Beginners can turn back there for a 50km ride. The Deo Pharma waterpoint will be at the Seeis turn. Open from 8:30am to 9:45am. Weekend warriors can turn there for an 80km ride. The Hollard waterpoint will be in the Nina corner at 66km. Open from 9am to 10:30am

The trophy segment will be from the Seeis turn back to the B6 - 14km (marked in blue on map). Your ride must be public and on Strava by 6pm to be eligible! No excuses!

On a serious note… riders we need to support our sponsors. They put a lot of money, time and effort into making these rides free and fun. Please thank them on your social media posts!

It's a good idea to download the route to your Garmin device and become familiar with it.

Please be aware that the attendance register will be closed on Thursday at 9am. Following the registration deadline, the rider list will be shared shortly thereafter at 10am. Make sure to secure your spot by confirming your attendance before the cutoff time. NO LATE RSVPs will be allowed.

New 2024 Sundowner MTB route

NEW START/FINISH VENUE FOR THE SUNDOWNER MTB SERIES POWERED BY HOLLARD.

Turn on to the Otjihase mine road like in the past. Drive for 7km on the mine road, you will see lots of Hollard banners on your left, turn left through the gate and park on the designated parking area.

The new route is only 12km and will be shared via email and social media on Monday 8 April.

The 10km tarred section of the old route are excluded from the new scenic and slightly challenging route.

NOT AT MOONLIGHT RESORT AS PREVIOUS YEARS

NEW VENUE: ......drive from Swakopmund, turn right towards Rossmund Golf Course and drive for 100meters over the hump/pipeline and turn left/east, drive for about 500 meters, you will see the race venue on your right/river side - Swakopmund clay shooting range ....follow Hollard banners.
Please park on the parking area indicated by the guards.
Limited and pre arranged late registrations allowed but no late entries will be done at the venue.
