Benefits of staying connected with God:
1. Nutrition: never get disconnected from God; the moment you stop praying, fasting and doing the things of God, you are disconnected. You must walk with God always; christianity is relationship and relationship is partnership…intimacy. (Can two walk together unless they agree?); connection in divinity… according to the word of David- I was glad when I heard we should go to the house of God; those who are connected unto God, you see them in higher places; fruits- testimonies, miracles, honour, favour, good health…; you can’t be connected to God and be maltreated; the world is a world of price…; We draw virtuous, oxygen, nutrients, sources, life from God; Eg: the life of Adam and Eve, the moment they got disconnected from God, they know shame and they were cursed.
2. Empowerment: 2Cor 3:18; for you to stay connected, you need patience so God can complete His work on you;
3. Stability: when we stay connected with God, we are stable; Isiah 59:1… iniquity disconnect us from God.
4. Fruit Bearing: Jn 15:8… Benefits to stay connected to God is to bear fruits… the children of God bears fruits; they are results getter; you can't be connected into God and experiencing barrenness, disappointment and shame;
5. Divine security: your destiny is not secured anywhere than in God; with God, your destiny, marriage, children, going out and coming in is secured; surely, my tomorrow is greater than my today; ….service to God… Service in the house of God is what makes you still stay connected to God. Heb 11:8; May God Almighty give us the Grace to stay Connected to Him alone in Jesus name. Amen
