Eggs are not Bad!!!!
Eggs are a natural source of many nutrients including high quality protein, vitamins and minerals.
Eggs are naturally rich in vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B12, vitamin D, selenium and iodine. They also contain vitamin A and a number of other B vitamins including folate, biotin, pantothenic acid and choline, and other essential minerals and trace elements, including phosphorus.

Meat!!!
Meat is good for you because it has nutrients including protein, iron, zinc and B vitamins. But beware! Although some lean meats are lower in fat, like chicken and turkey, others contain a lot of saturated fat. The healthiest way to eat meat is to have it lean and cut off all the fat and skin.
For a healthy heart
At the time of the menopause, a woman's risk of heart disease
increases to that of a similarly aged man. You can reduce your
chances of developing heart disease by following a heart-healthy diet.
Take extra care to restrict the amount of saturated fat you eat.
Specifically, you should eat 2 portions of fish a week one of which should
be oily.
You should have no more than 4 portions of oily fish per week as
it may contain low levels of pollutants that can build up in the body.
Aim for a minimum of 5 portions of fruit and vegetables every day.
Evidence shows that up to 10 portions a day is especially protective
against heart disease, and that some are particularly effective,
for example green leafy vegetables (cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower),
citrus fruit, apples and pears.
Also, cut down on salt by trying to rely less on processed foods and
cooking more from scratch. Compare the amount of salt (or sodium) on
similar products and choose the lowest.
Five portions of fruit and
vegetables each day and remember, fresh, frozen, dried and canned all count towards your total 5-a-day. Don’t forget to include
the vegetables you add to cooked dishes,
for example onions in a stew or casserole, tomatoes in a pasta sauce or vegetable soup are included.
Some portions only count once in a day:
150ml of fruit juice, vegetable juice or smoothie. Limit the amount you drink to a combined total of 150ml a day. Crushing fruit and vegetables into juice and smoothies releases the sugars they contain, which can damage teeth. Juices and smoothies should be consumed at mealtimes, not as a between-meal snack, to reduce the risk of tooth decay.

Eat foods high in fat, salt and sugar less often and in small amounts
These foods include chocolate, cakes, biscuits, sugary soft drinks, butter, ghee and ice cream.
They're not needed in our diet, so should be eaten less often and in smaller amounts.
Here are some examples of 40 calorie portion.
1. A handful of strawberries 🍓
2. 1 small child size banana 🍌
3. 1 kiwi 🥝
4. 1/2 a small glass orange juice 🍊
5. 1/6 of a melon 🍉

What is your healthy choice?
A. Workout
B. Rest
Variety is key because different foods have different nutrients. Eating a varied diet can benefit our health by reducing risks associated with malnutrition, which happens when we don't get the right amount of nutrients from our diet.

Here are some simple ways you can cut down on your salt intake
* Remove the salt pot from the table to avoid adding extra salt to your meals.
* Once you are used to this, try reducing the salt you add when cooking and make more use of herbs and spices.
* There is no need to add salt if you are using a stock cube as they contain lots of salt, try using a reduced salt stock cube.
