IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM
LUKE 8:22-26

Believers are not immuned from the challenges of life . As long as we are in this world, we would face trials and tribulations but thanks be to God who has given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. We are more than conquerors. When faced with unpleasant situations and circumstances , we should cry out to Jesus in prayers. It is not a time to be afraid or despair.
Rather, we should focus on the power and ability of God. We should take the situation to God in prayers and hold on in Faith for God's visitation. We should recount the faithfulness of God in time past and trust Him to calm every raging storm . He is the master of the storm. There is no impossibility with Him. Cast all your cares and burdens upon Him and He will see you through

MERCY THAT CAN'T BE EXPLAINED
"I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion" Romans 9:15
How God dispenses His benevolence sometimes is beyond any human explanation. Why did God choose the widow of Zarephath for miracle of supply in midst of famine? There were many other widows with worst situations in Israel and Sidon. How come amongst the multitude of lepers it was only the Syrian Captain Naaman who was healed of leprosy? What happened to the other lepers who could have profited from Elijah's leprosy curing anointing?
Was Mary the only virgin in Israel? What did she do to merit the privilege to carry the precious Son of God in her womb without normal natural conception? The man at pool of Bethesda was in the midst of numerous sick folks waiting for their turn to be healed at the pool side. Why did Jesus bypass others to reach this man and heal him of 38 years old affliction?
Honestly I do not have clear answers to any of the above mysteries other than it is God's prerogative to choose whom to show mercy and compassion

I ask for that mercy His mercy that is not meant for the multitude and that brings uncommon miracles locate and visit me and you this remaining of this year in Jesus Name

Victory Over Temptation
. . tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope; and hope maketh not ashamed . . .
–Romans 5:3–5
God never promised to remove temptation from us, for even Christ was subject to it. The Bible says that "He was tested in all things, like as we, yet without sin." There is no good reason why you should seek to escape, for such times of testing have beneficial effects. There is a sense of achievement and assurance that results from victory over temptation that cannot come to us otherwise. Temptation shows what people really are. It does not make us Christian or un-Christian. It does make the Christian stronger and causes him to discover resources of power. You can benefit from what might be tragedy, if you will only discover that in just such a time of temptation, Christ can become more real to you than ever, and His salvation will become more meaningful.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

In all times of temptation, may I remember Your example, Lord Jesus.

In the name of Jesus, every alter working against your testimony, be destroyed now!
