Mafi yawa daga cikin ɗaliban da ke rijistar jarrabawar JAMB UTME, su na halartar cibiyoyin rijista ne, ba tare da sanin haƙiƙanin makarantun da ya kamata su sanya a matsayin zaɓukansu (choices) ba. Hakan ya sa mu ka yi nazari, tare da wallafa muku wasu abubuwa shida, da ya kamata a ce kun yi la'akari da su, kafin zaɓar kowacce makaranta, a matsayin wacce ku ke muradin yin karatu a ciki.

Yin zaɓin ƙwarai ta fuskar makarantun da ake son yin karatu a ciki, ko akasin hakan, na taka gagarumar rawa, a cikin sha'anin samun guraben karatu (Admissions), da ma bayan kammala karatun.

Wannan ita ce gaɓa mafi muhimmanci, a ya yin da ake yunƙurin zaɓar Makaranta, ko Jami'ar da ake muradin yin karatu, domin kuwa akwai Jami'o'i da Makarantu da dama da su ke karantar da wasu kwasa-kwasai, ba tare da sahalewar hukumar NUC, ko sauran hukumomin da ke da alhakin tantancewa ba. Saboda haka ku tabbatar NUC ta tantance Course ɗin da ku ke son karantawa a Jami'ar da ku ke da muradi, domin karantar wani Course ba tare da tantance shi ba, dai-dai ya ke da ɓata lokaci.

2• Cathment Area Na Makarantar :

Ya na da kyau ku san Cathment Area na dukkannin wata Makaranta, ko Jami'ar da ku ke son cikewa, domin kuwa catchment area ne, zai nuna muku sauƙin yiwuwar samun Admission ɗinku a wannan makarantar, ko akasin haka, duba da cewar, kowacce makaranta ta na ɗaukar kaso mafi tsoka na ɗalibanta ne, a yankunan da ke matsayin cathment areas ɗinta. Misali : Babbar Cathment Area ɗin Jami'ar Bayero, ita ce Kano, saboda haka dukkannin ɗaliban da su ka nemi gurbin karatu a Jami'ar daga Kano samun Admission zai fi musu sauƙi, fiye da wanda ya nemeta daga Ekiti.

Assalamu Alaikum.

We wish to inform the General Undergraduate students of Katsina South Senatorial District (Funtua Zone) that Distinguished Senator Muntari Muhammad Dandutse, in his profound respect and high regard for Education and students in general, has developed a strategic plan to support the promising students of Katsina South Senatorial District.

This initiative is a testament to his unwavering commitment to assist students in pursuing their academic endeavors and ensuring their well-being.

The Educational Support Program is designed to benefit all students in Public Tertiary Institutions pursuing Degree, HND, NCE, or Diploma programs.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Applicants must be indigenous to Katsina South Senatorial District (Funtua Zone).
2. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Public tertiary institution in Nigeria offering Degree, HND, NCE, or Diploma programs.
3. Applicants must have at least 2 consecutive semesters before graduation (Final Year Second Semester students are not eligible).
