Rotary Club of Omole Golden Hosts Successful Three-Day Retreat at Crown Resort, Agbara

The Rotary Club of Omole Golden recently concluded it’s annual retreat for its club members at the scenic Crown Resort in Agbara.
From April 12th to 14th, 2024, members of the esteemed club convened for a series of activities aimed at fostering camaraderie, personal development, and strategic planning for future community service initiatives.
Key highlight at the retreat featured a diverse array of activities, including interactive workshops, networking sessions, outdoor recreational activities, and insightful guest speaker presentations.
Members enthusiastically participated in team-building exercises and engaging discussions, enriching their experience and strengthening bonds within the club.
Throughout the retreat, members delved into important topics including leadership, teamwork, and innovative approaches to community service and project ex*****on.
Esteemed guest speakers include Past Distirct Governor of District9110, Rotarian Bola Oyebade who in his opening remark as chairman of the 2024 Retreat shared Inspiring perspectives of his Rotary Journey and how he navigated critical paths to his success , inspiring attendees to uphold Rotary’s values of service and fellowship. Other speakers include the Hope President Rotarian Veronica Isijola, President Elect of the club , Rotarian Jide Ogunleye , President Nominee Designate ,Rotarian Omowumi Bakare, Past President Lekan Bade-John as well as Past Assistant Governor Samuel Aiyetutu, ( represented by the Clubs Public Image Chair, Rotarian Tope Akande) .
The retreat left a lasting impact on participanting Rotarians , empowering them with enhanced knowledge , renewed motivation, and strategic insights to drive meaningful change within immediate communities. Attendees expressed gratitude for the opportunity to connect with fellow Rotarians, exchange ideas, and collaborate on future initiatives. Key highlight of the retreat was the decoration of notable members of the club as “Retreat Generals” due to their special support for the success of the retreat .
The three-day retreat organized by the Rotary Club of Omole Golden was hailed as a resounding success, reflecting the club’s unwavering commitment to service and fellowship coupled with a renewed spirit and dedication to making a positive difference in the world.

Rotary Club of Omole Golden Enhances Ajuwon Junior High School with New Classrooms, Furniture, and Tree Planting Initiative

In a remarkable display of community service and commitment to education, the Rotary Club of Omole Golden has unveiled it's transformative project at Ajuwon Junior High School.

The initiative encompasses the construction of a new block of classrooms, the donation of school furniture, and a tree planting exercise aimed at fostering a greener environment.

The commissioning ceremony, held amidst an atmosphere of enthusiasm and anticipation, saw members of the Rotary Club, school administrators, State government officials, and students coming together to celebrate the culmination of months of hard work and dedication.

The newly constructed block of classrooms boasts modern amenities and spacious learning environments, providing students with an enhanced educational experience conducive to academic success.

Additionally, the donation of school furniture ensures that students have access to comfortable and functional seating arrangements, further enriching their learning environment.

As part of their commitment to environmental sustainability, the Rotary Club organized a tree planting exercise on the school premises. This initiative not only contributes to the beautification of the campus but also instills in students the importance of environmental conservation and stewardship.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rotarian Veronica Isijola , President of the Rotary Club of Omole Golden, expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the project. "Education is the cornerstone of development, and we are honored to play a role in enhancing the learning environment at Ajuwon Junior High School.
