Dear friends and fellow enthusiasts of academic excellence,
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the highly anticipated 9th Edition of the Francis Ibhawoh Undergraduate Essay Competition! 🎉
This annual competition, organized by the Francis Ibhawoh Foundation, aims to engage undergraduate students in thoughtful conversations. This year, we will be discussing the persistent issue of incessant strikes in Nigerian public tertiary institutions and exploring potential solutions.
The topic for 2023 Essay Competition is "Incessant Strikes in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions and How to Address Them." We recognize the significant impact that strikes have on the academic progress and overall development of our nation's youth. We believe it is crucial to address this issue and generate innovative ideas to ensure a stable and conducive learning environment for students.
We invite undergraduate students from all disciplines in tertiary institutions in Edo State to participate in this competition, as we firmly believe that diverse perspectives contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the challenges at hand. We encourage you to analyze the causes, consequences, and implications of strikes in Nigerian public tertiary institutions, and propose effective strategies to address this issue sustainably.
By participating in this competition, you will not only have the opportunity to voice your opinions and insights but also stand a chance to win a cash award of N100,000.00, a certificate of achievement, and invaluable networking opportunities with renowned scholars, education experts, and professionals in various fields of endeavor.
The Francis Ibhawoh Foundation is committed to promoting education, fostering dialogue, and seeking solutions to societal challenges.
