But then, it’s definitely not happening how I planned. Notwithstanding, I’d be having my thanksgiving in my house.

Reminded me of December 2019:
I can’t just stop laughing thinking about this 😁. Few days back, while trying to get over sleepless nights because of a project I missed the deadline due to some unforeseen circumstances 🥴🥴🥴
Someone called and noticed I was trying to sleep and was disturbing me because I’m resting 🤨🤨 and decided to remind me of one of the cliches I say to get people to work which says; “Work is not a CURSE, it has been instituted before the fall of man; God didn’t curse man to work because our first parent fell, work has been before the fall” So I should leave the bed and get back to working. My God will judge her sha.
On Christmas Day I worked, all through the holiday I’ve been having sleepless night, just little time I try to rest, she used my words against me.

Well, I’ve taken my advice for myself. So 2020, just so you know, this year, I’d squeeze and suck out every drop of juiciness you’ve got to offer. Get ready 2020 ☺️

I had an experience with someone yesterday and i was so disappointed with the persons approach to “a thing” and decided to express my displeasure to the person and I begun typing, and I realized I’ve exhausted the WhatsApp status limit, and eventually I thought to share as a post.

PS: It’s no best practices, but my random thought and I think you can learn a thing or two from it.

Essentially “people” are definitely part of the ingredients that cooks your growth and so you need to properly manage your relationship with people.

You see, there’s one problem that retards the growth of many, and the “evil part” is most of these persons are ignorant about this problem.

The problem is “THE SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT”. Because I have the capacity to help you grow or “help you” doesn’t mean I must or I’m mandated to help.

When you constantly exhibit the sense of entitlement characteristics, you reduce your chances of getting that help.

Every “help” one receives is usually on a level of merit, you can only earn it, you’re not entitled to it. Build your relationship with those ahead and earn the help you seek because they’re not mandated to help you and you’re not entitled to their help unless you’ve earned it.

One quick way to earn such is “HONOR”.
When you honor those ahead; those who with the potential to help you grow, you’ve indirectly earned a chunk of “help” you don’t have to mention you need their help, they willingly help you in that regards because you did sow honor and you earned/reaped the help you seek.
_
Some principles I apply to me.
_
So stop having that sense of entitlement around people and begin working to earn the help you seek.
