In my little research, it was garnered that the time frame of the youthful age is the only period any man can get for himself, and it is the period he can design what becomes of him hereafter.

This is why a whole lot of youth lose focus and direction just moving towards a mirage they call enjoyment. As much as it is good to enjoy the moment while it lasts, it is expected that they prepare to have a sustainable future they can fall back into.

As much as responsibility is a personal call, it is expected that a portfolio to render service is created for free access.

It is no more news that today's world has been digitalized and the best alternative to affirm transcending with the nominal trends and vogue is to follow suit.

Our community is in dire need of agents who will restructure and bring innovation to propel individual independence. Job hunting might have been an issue for most of our graduates, but what about empowering them and redefining their status through their mindset.

The world is revolving, IFELODUN/BORIPE/ODOOTIN Federal Constituency too will not be left behind in tapping into the realm the world is enjoying and making use of the same for the betterment of our community.

Honorable Minister Adegboyega Oyetola CON is a state man and a great administrator, one of the driving edges he has while serving as the Governor of Osun State was to ensure a democratic government is facilitated through interaction and engagement with every necessary sector without exclusion of any.

Today, as the Honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, he has also been taking such into concern, not leaving any sector of the ministry aside nor sitting aimlessly in office, he has ensured every sector of the ministry is working effectively to ensure a same goal is achieved.

Immediately after receiving the Oath of Office, Honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, H.E Adegboyega Oyetola CON held an inter-agencies engagement to bring all hands on board and sustain collective efforts which is the great dosage to sustaining development.

He received briefings from the head of every sector and parastatals associated with the new Ministry which includes the National Inland Waterways Authority and the Nigeria Shippers Council.

These are all to shape a prosperous and environmentally conscious future.

Building upon the cooperation and collectivism of these parastatals and agencies, there would be no constraints to what the ministry can perform and achieving its predetermined goals of attaining a country with a sustainable maritime and blue economy.

Adegboyega Oyetola CON is indeed a great pride of Iragbiji and Osun State and he is quite meeting beyond the expectations as the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Nigeria.

Through the interagency activities of the Honorable Minister Adegboyega Oyetola CON, the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy has become one of the key ministries at the forefront that is projecting the aims of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration and working towards ensuring the same.

It is not a gainsay, the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy is one of the key ministries that is catching the attention of both internal and external economic players through enhancing development, this can be attributed to the commitment and dedication of the Minister in charge, Honorable Minister Adegboyega Oyetola CON.

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy has fastened collaborations with world organizations and others within the frame of the country.

A typical example of this is the Collaboration with Anderson Nigeria Leadership Team who also have the same focus within the framework of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's prioritized agenda.

Through these collaborations, the diverse aiding initiative has been conceived that is aimed towards actualization and swift facilitation, such as port enhancement, review policies, and harnessing international partnerships.

In lieu of the above, most especially, forging international partnerships, the Honorable Minister Adegboyega Oyetola CON engaged in discussion with the US Consul General alongside the Assistant Secretary of State for Business and Economic Affairs where the two country comes into re-energizing the areas of promoting collaborations and partnership, after doing a thorough review of the previous engagement between the duo country.

Concerning my last publications on the activities of Honorable Minister Adegboyega Oyetola CON (The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy), the ministry held a retreat in November where he addressed stakeholders' roundtable on Nigeria's Marine and Blue Economy.

At the retreat, he unveiled the mandate of the ministry to institutionalize the blue economy for sustenance and growth diversification.

This includes tapping into the nation's vast potential and developing a roadmap in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's priorities, which are committed to ensuring national development.

As a breech from this retreat, the ministry has started promoting Public - Private Partnership (PPP) model for transformative impact.

As a ministry that oversees functions of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Nigeria Maritime and Safety Agencies, and Nigeria Inland Water, Honorable Minister Adegboyega Oyetola has started supporting local players in the Marine and Blue Economy in overcoming sector challenges through inter-agencies collaboration for safer, reliable, and sustainable industry.

The ministry has been travailing with the initiation of easy and accessible module operandi through the implementation of tools like the Port Community System that enhance higher efficiency in the maritime sector.

Let me do a few overviews of the Minister in Charge, Alh. Adegboyega Oyetola CON is a resilient impact and change maker. As a Governor of Osun State, he ensured the state didn't lag economically throughout his stay in office, which he has done again in the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.

Being a Ministry set to position Nigeria as a premier maritime nation, Alh. Adegboyega Oyetola CON to project initiatives that will aid the mandate placed on the ministry has been engaging different portfolios and agencies associated with the ministry, ensuring a firm foundation is laid on which project facilitation will be built in due time.

"To unfailingly demonstrate innovative thinking and an unrelenting focus on the result" as ordered by PBAT, Alh. Adegboyega Oyetola CON has signed a performance bond to further actively remain dedicated to the course and purpose of creating the ministry.

As a man who turned the State of Osun into a resilient economic state, he is well able to perform better in the new Ministerial portfolio he is currently serving, and this he has been committed to right from the point of receiving the Oath of Office.

In the next few days, I will be writing about Nigeria's new Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy under the leadership of Honorable Minister Adegboyega Oyetola CON, the Honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Nigeria.

In August, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced a new Ministerial Portfolio intending to tap into the country's natural resources, the Blue and Marine Economy.

According to the report from the World Bank, the Marine and Blue Economy can generate not less than $ 1.5 trillion annually and if effectively channeled, more could be added.

This is stipulated to come from the sustainable use of Ocean and Coastal resources for economic growth, having a wide range of sectors to navigate which includes Oceans, Seas, Waterways, and Coasts.

Even though this Ministry is a unique Portfolio, it has caught quite a lot of attention due to the engagement and activities from the Ministry, special remarks to the Honorable Minister in charge, Honorable Minister Adegboyega Oyetola.

This is subject to the coordination, unrelenting engagement, and commitment of the Honorable Minister of the Ministry, Alh. Adegboyega Oyetola CON to the growth, development, and progress of the country's economy through the navigation of the Ministry towards attaining hope and expectation.

Aragbiji lauds Army Chief as Maj. Gen Ibikunle donates Maternity Centre to Iragbiji

The Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi Odundun IV has lauded the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Faruk Yahaya over the donation of a magnificent Maternity Centre by one of his illustrious sons, Simeon Ibikunle, who is a Major General and Chief of Defense Logistics at the Defense Headquarters, Abuja.The project is located at Araromi Market, Iragbiji.

Oba Olabomi's gratitude to the Army Chief was premised on his identification and location of a Quick Impact Project in the ancient town as part of the Army's Community Development Project initiatives.

Delivering his speech at the Commissioning of the project in Iragbiji on Thursday, the monarch extolled the Chief of Defense Logistics, Maj. Gen Simeon Ibikunle, describing him as "illustrious Son" of the City.

Speaking further, the Aragbiji said: "Today, this Community is witnessing the inauguration of the first ever military project in Iragbiji which directly impacts on the people.

"No doubt, we are proud, happy, excited and grateful to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Faruk Yahaya, our Son, Major General Simon Ayobami Ibikunle and of course, the Nigerian Army, for the ex*****on of this laudable project in Iragbiji.

"We now know that soldiers do not fight only wars; they also contribute to solving communities' social problems".

According to the traditional ruler, the donor of the project, Maj Gen Ibikunle, has, by his letter dated May 10, 2023, officially handed over the Maternity Centre to him and by extension, Iragbiji Community with effect from the said date.

Reacting to this, the monarch said "I gladly accept the huge gift given to us by our Son and Army General with the promise that we will make use of it to your satisfaction".

Consequently, the Aragbiji established and inaugurated a Seven-member Management Committee to oversee the activities of the Centre on behalf of the Community, just as the monarch further handed over the project to the Boripe Local Government authority as well as the State Primary Health Care Development Board, urging them to make good use of the Centre.

Heavy presence of high-ranking military officers and prominent dignitaries made the commissioning an epochal event, where the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Faruk Yahaya was represented by the General Officer Commander (GOC) 2 Division of the Nigerian Army, Maj. Gen MT Usman, who extended the pleasantries and goodwill of his boss to the Aragbiji.

Also at the occasion attended by notable indigenes of Iragbiji were the Commander of the Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps, Maj Gen A.M Alabi, the Director Campaign Planning Defense Headquarters, Maj. Gen Olusegun Adeyemo and the Commander Central Ordnance Depot, Odogbo, Ibadan, Brig. Gen Yinusa.

Other senior officers in attendance were the Eaglet Coach 1989, Coach F***y Amun, the Representative of the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Moses Onilede and the members of the Nigerian Army Officers' Wives Association, 38 Regular Course led by the Wife of the Donor, Mrs. Olukemi Ibikunle. The Maternity Center was immediately opened for patients.

Poverty being a factor battling us from the days of our fathers, this was not preconceived but was however cause due to the instability in economic factor that have being ravaging the texture of our lands.

Even though, we citizen have gotten responsibilities to take but the way earnest of it was saddled with the government of which I must commend the past administration under the leadership of Alh. Gov. Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola (The ex and only prudent Governor Osun ever produced), his contributions towards the sustainment of Osun Economic Structure is what I tagged WAR AGAINST POVERTY.

Setting the three main sector and critical pillars of our economy, Agriculture, Tourism and Mining, positioning the three sectors as our foreign exchange drivers earner and the drivers of our economy.

Working hands in hands with the security agencies in the state to make sure that the state is being kept relatively save in order to build a robust foundation for economic revolution agenda.

Even though there's limited resources, his administration was able to stabilized the economy, paid workers salaries as at when due, paid pensions, entrenched socio economic development through infrastructure building by redefining and restructuring, all these was done as a confirmation of waging war against poverty in Osun State but the soon to take over back mandate man Alh. Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola.

In continuation of strengthening and stabilizing the State's economic and waging war against causes of economy instability in our state, Over 2, 000 beneficiaries benefited from the disbursement of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Fund which was done through partnership with the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, and it was recorded that sum of #6. 5Billion has been disbursed to 31, 888 business owners in the state. This was prompt by the thirstiness of the all time most prudent governor of Osun state, Alh. Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, who focused on revitalizing the State's economy for improved performance.

Indeed, a good turns deserved another....because the prospect we expect and the potentials of man resources were all only present in Alh. Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola.

While working towards fostering a conducive environment, I have set it as the priority on my earnest heart to bring in effective and diplomatic democratic form of leadership rules in sustaining a working skyrocketing IFELODUN, BORIPE, ODO-OTIN FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY👌

This is a new initiative of inclusion of the masses as the candid prospect to be considered in facilitating diverse resources through diverse ENGAGEMENTS. This is just in order to aid and foster the needs, wants and desires of the people as the prerequisite to foster and facilitate the project for the Constituency.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP is another means and an important keynote that would be hearthily sees to in the affairs of our dealings. After engagement which serve as consultations and facilitating mutual relationship with the masses, entrepreneurship opportunity is another prospect to facilitate in this coming era, whereby an independent variabilities of personnel shall be created, endowed with knowledge and given privileges to create initiative for betterment of life individually, community and the state at a whole.

Not limited to that, upon the basic of entrepreneurship being facilitated, there is going to be empowerment to cater for the capital expenses and the neccesary required tools to kickstart and stand out as a pertaker in such entrepreneurship programs, this is what I tagged EMPOWERMENTS.

The empowerment shall be extended to the farmers, traders, youth and children of tender ages with what I tagged EDUCATION EMPOWERMENTS whereby many principles shall be facilitated to aid our outstanding students as a motivations to their peers in being the best and utilized the best capacity in them towards creating a better tomorrow for themselves.

These are little in what we've set in place for BORIPE, IFELODUN and ODO-OTIN which would be unveiled in due seasons. Yes, don't be left out in working towards it actualization, because together shall we aid this to effectiveness.
